Serenity's POV

I roamed around the university all day. I reached the garden and sat on the swing.

I got lost on the thought about not engaging myself in that accident. Maybe I could've had a good life here. I can still engulf my parents with a bear hug and thank them for everything they did for me.

"Why are you still here?"

I turned around and saw the boy I talked to earlier. I started to notice his black hair, it looks so soft that I could play with it. His eyes are chocolate brown. He has a chiseled jaw, and I noticed beads of sweat on his forehead, which by the way looks so attractive. Oh no, I'm an angel but I get these teenage hormones! But hey! I'm allowed to feel these! Lol! So all in all, he looks like a Greek god.

Greek god and the Angel. How cute! Ugh! Erase those thoughts! I don't know him!

"I was just ummm... getting fresh air. Yeah." I said hesitantly and smiled. He smiled too.

I. Just. Died.

Again.

He looks so beautiful with that smile plastered on his face. I mentally face palmed. I hate this side of me...

He nodded then sat at the other swing.

It was quiet. We were just swinging back and forth, feeling the wind.

"Why are you the only one here?" I asked to break the silence.

"The team has a practice but our coach got sick. The others didn't came. I went here for a practice alone." He explained and I nodded, not knowing what to say

Silence filled the atmosphere. It's so awkward. I wanted to talk to him but I don't know how to make a conversation with a human. Plus, he is a guy.

"Do you want to go to the ice cream parlor?" He asked. Ice cream? How can I eat that?

"Sure!" I said happily. I don't want to reject him.

We went to the ice cream parlor. We sat at the leftmost corner of the shop.

"What do you like?"

"Nothing. I am allergic to ice cream." I lied. I'm an angel, I can't eat.

"You should've said so. Anyway, I'll just get you water." He said and went away.

After a few minutes, he returned with a glass of water and a small vanilla ice cream.

"So, who are you anyway?" He asked to start a conversation.

"Serenity Kate..." I answered. I looked at him instead of the people passing by. "...you?"

"Dylan Benedict." He replied and ate a spoonful of ice cream.

"Pretty name." I complimented. It's true! His name is like a symphony. Oh no, fangirling mode.

"Are you new here? I haven't see you before." He asked again. Should I tell him that I live here but I just died so yeah, I'm an angel? Or should I lie? I had a mini battle inside my head but was brought back to reality when he cleared throat.

"Umm... yeah." I replied silently. Lie. Nope, just a little white lie.

"Where do stay?" He asked. He's too curious.

"Is this some kind of interview?" I said smiling.

"Haha. No Serenity, I just want to get to know you." He answered. I felt my cheeks heat up. He wants to get to know me?

"Dylan?" A voice called. He turned around and saw the person.

"Grace. What's up? Oh hey there bro." He greeted the two people as they go near us.

"You are laughing...alone." the girl said. Looking weirdly at Dylan.

"No I'm not. She's laughing with me." He said as he turned to my direction.

"Serenity?" He called. I hid 5 steps away from them.

"Tsk tsk. See you around." The girl said and walked away with her boyfriend I think. After few seconds, I returned to our seat.

"Where have you been?" He snapped. Uh oh. Am I in trouble? Did I just piss him off?

"Comfort room." I said nervously. I looked at him and saw that his eyebrows are furrowed.

"Okay. Let's go." He said. Mood swings??? Does this guy has man period? Oh joy. I still have the will to joke around. Lol.

I followed him outside and he stopped his tracks in front of a park.

"What are we doing here?" I asked him. He was lost in his thoughts. I want to know more about him.

"This is where I she said yes and this is also the place where she broke up with me." He shared, almost whispering.

"Who?" I asked. I placed my hand at his back and patted him gently.

Maybe that Grace girl broke his heart.

"Grace..." he replied "Forget that." He let a frustrated sigh. "Past is past. Come on." He said then continued walking.

"You know, you can talk to me anytime. Consider me as your friend."

He turned around and smiled.

"I know. Serenity, thanks." He said "I'm going now. Bye."

After that, we separated ways. I was smiling on the way. I looked at the sky and got lost on the thought of a certain guy.
