Alora's dad left when she was five, he never came back.
"Ally! I need to talk to you!" Alora ran to her mother, who took her and hugged her.
"Hon, I'm afraid I have to go for a bit. I won't be home for at least a month. Is it okay if you stay with your aunt?" Ally nodded. "Okay." She said.
A week later, Alora was told that her mother was dead. Her aunt didn't want her. She went to an orphanage. She was teased and bullied by those in better situations. She was teased at school, and hit at the orphanage.
No one wanted to adopt her, and she didn't know why. She wasn't fed enough, and was constantly hungry. She would see her old friends at school, and they'd ignore her. Her cousin was her only stronghold. Her cousin moved to London.
She was broken.
