"That's what I said right, girl?" Kaia nodded, "you got me forever?" Hezekiah cheesed.

"For evers and evers and evers, Kaia and Zeke."

"Yeah, it's just Kaia and Zeke. Forever and ever and ever, can't nothing get between us Kay. I'll be your big brother for ever." Hezekiah began pressing kisses all over Kaia's face as she giggled trying to push him away.

"pinky promissionem?" Kaia asked holding out her pinky finger, Hezekiah held out his and intertwined them.

"protector meus?" Kaia questioned to which Hezekiah nodded.

"patronum tuum in sempiternum." Hezekiah kissed their intertwined pinks, "you gonna be my minus salutaris?" From the minute Kaia knew how to babble he began teaching her latin, meaning it was her first ever language so effectively she is a very advanced three year old speaking both latin and english somewhat perfectly.

"Yeah, I'm a little saviour." Kaia nodded frantically then she paused, "what's a saviour?" Hezekiah chuckled softly, something he rarely did except when in the presence of his baby sister.

"A person who saves someone when they're in desperate need or danger, you saved me Kay." Hezekiah gave his sister a small smile, "and you saved yo momma too." He mumbled lowly but Kaia still heard, she didn't understand but she heard him. "You're everybody's saviour, Kay. Lords know I'd probably be down there with the demons, if it wasn't for you." Kaia frowned her bottle lip wobbling.

"W-what do you mean? Y-you're not g-going to hell. You gots ta go ta heaven, with me."

"I'm living heaven on Earth, parva sorar." Hezekiah smiled gingerly again.

"W-what do you mean?" Kaia was utterly bewildered, she believed you went to heaven and hell in the afterlife and whilst you was living on Earth you couldn't be in neither.

"I got everything I wanted more or less and if I haven't got it yet I'm getting it, fuck I need heaven for?" Kaia frowned at his change of tone, Hezekiah apologised for forgetting who he was talking to, "my bad i didn't mean to swear like at. But anyways I don't need or believe in all that afterlife stuff it means nothing to me, God ain't accepting a sinner."

"Sinner?" Kaia queried.

"Yeah a sinner, Kay. I'm not all that good."

"You are, whoever said you're not is lying. You're m-my saviour, Zee. Promise."

"Oh I'm your saviour, how am I your saviour? And I definitely am a sinner princess."

"You're not!" Kaia yelled and Hezekiah shot her a stern look, "you're not," she repeated quietly, "a-and you're my saviour b-because you saved me from mommy and always from bad guys. And even when go aways for long long times you always come back."

"You ever think I won't come back?" Hezekiah questioned looking down at his sister whom had glossy eyes.

"Sometimes, is scary out t-there. A-and I don't wanna lose you, bubba, never wanna lose you." Kaia cried into her brothers shirt, "don't leave me! don't ever leave me, please bubba! please, don't leave me! don't wants you to leave me, zeke please!" Kaia cried her tiny little heart out sobbing with everything in her, "don't leave Kaia, don't leave me."

"shhh, shhh. Don't worry Kay, bubba's not leaving ever." Hezekiah cooed at his baby sister wiping his sisters nitid eyes and cheeks.

"Please don't leave me, bubba. I beg, I b-beg please don't leave me!" Kaia clutched onto her baby brother's grey wifebeater and he thanked the skies he put some clothes on after coming out the shower.

"i'm never leaving you okay, Kaia. Never in my life."

"Y-you said that before, y-you pr-promised me you promised Zee, th-then you left me!" more tears arrived, "w-why'd you leave me Zeke? W-why couldn't you stay?"

"It wasn't by choice, Kay. I'd never go by choice I promise, I didn't want to but I was forced and i couldn't do anything about it so I just listened. Sometimes when you can't change something you just learn to deal with it and get on with it, in certain situations you can make a rebuttal and you can complain but in mine, I was in no place to say anything cKay. I did what I did for us, for everyone." Kaia whimpered rubbing her bright red eyes.

"S-sorry." She apologised feeling bad.

"Don't apologise, Kay. It's alright okay, I'll do what I did a million times over for you. I'm never going anywhere okay Kay, now who filled your head with such futile thoughts?" Kaia discountenanced the idea of telling her big brother who brought along such thoughts, she bit her lip tightly, "well? a name, Kaia who?" Hezekiah pulled her lip out of her teeth's grasp scowling.

"I-I-I don't know, no-one I just didn't want you to go." Hezekiah rolled his eyes.

"Yeah right, who told you I was ever going to leave you Kaia? Seriously, now. It upsets me to know someone has caused my baby sister such distress and I refuse to allow it, so a name would be appreciated now please." Kaia's frowned reappeared.

"It was mommy," she murmured lightly, "mommy told me you was leaving me, I cried and said y-you'd never do that to me. That you'd always come back to me, to us. B-but mommy said was wrong." Hezekiah gritted his teeth feeling his anger rise.

"Trust me when I say nothing that has ever and will ever come out of that critter's mouth has never been true. I'm never leaving, Kay."

Kaia sighed softly, "get scared. Don't want you to go and and n-not come back to Kay." Hezekiah wiped her eyes before they could fall.

"You have nothing to worry about okay Kay. I'll never do that. I'm never going anywhere. What if i promise to always take you with me yeah, wherever I go? would that make you feel better?" Kaia nodded her mood somewhat lifting, "already go to sleep now, Kay. It's really late and you know I'm not a morning person as it is, you shouldn't even be up at this time we got way too carried away." Hezekiah sighed an expression if lour settling on his face.

"I paenitet magnus frater." Kaia apologised, inwardly not feeling guilty, she wished she could stay up talking all night to her brother, it was ever so rare they had conversations like these. "Tantum te amo bonum noctis." Hezekiah pressed a kiss to Kaia's forehead.

"Bonum noctem soror, te amo usque magis. Big hodie cras adepto lots of somnum, ne te erant 'iens ut nihil opus est daycare surgere mane." Hezekiah explained wrapping his arms around Kaia as she snuggled into his chest.

Kaia nodded into his chest to show she understood, "bene." She replied softly.
