Today was a sunny Thursday and of course I could be at the beach or in the pool, but instead of that I preferred to stay at home studying with Ashton. We were now finishing math which was killing me. The older boy was sitting across from me with some papers in his hands acting like he was a real teacher.

"Ok now tell me about fractions, Michael."

"Alright, so in a fraction are denominators which tell us how many parts the whole is divided into."

"That's good, keep going." Ashton said moving to sit next to me.

"Then there are the numerators. They tell us how many of those parts we're dealing with." I answered him proud of myself.

"Well, your answer is correct sir." Ashton affirmed.

"I think I'm ready for the test tomorrow."

"You think?" He asked looking straight in my eyes and placing his hand on my shoulder, then stroking it. "You know it's an important test."

He was right. It's the final math test, and I promised Liz that I'll be doing great. My grades, since Ashton started tutoring me, improved a lot and I wanted to keep it like this.

"Yeah, I'm ready." I said and pulled away a bit when I realized how close we were.

"So you don't mind if I do a quick quiz right now, right?" Ashton asked trying to seduce me, never breaking the eye contact.

"Ahn... okay." I didn't know why, but Ashton was acting really touchy and weird now.

"Explain a proper fraction." he said leaning a bit.

"That's easy, it's when a numerator is less than the denominator."

"Right. Now an improper fraction." he leaned in a little more.

"When a numerator is greater than or equal to a denominator."

"Good. Mixed numbers?" Ashton got closer, but I didn't even bother to move.

"It's a whole number and a fraction."

"That's right. What about equivalents fractions?" he said and leaned in even more, with now the tips of our noses touching.

"Ahn, those are fra-actions that re-represent the same n-number. " I said stuttering because of Ashton's touch.

"Yeah, you are ready for the test." he whispered never leaving or backing off.

Our breaths were mixing and turning into one and our lips were only inches apart. I was looking right into his hazel eyes while he looked into my green ones.

"A-Ashton?"

"Yeah?"

"What are you exactly doing?" I asked the boy in front of me.

Ashton's eyes widened when he realized how close we were. It seemed like, he was hypnotized and didn't know what he was doing. To be honest, neither knew I.

"O-oh my God, Michael. I was, eh, I'm sorry. I don't know what happened, I just, I'm sorry." Ashton said and stood up fast while grabbing his things. "I got to go."

"No Ash, it's fine. You don't have to leave now."

"Yes I do. I have a girlfriend who is probably waiting for me so eh if you don't mind, I'm leaving now bye." He said raising his voice a bit and nervously running a hand through his curly hair.

"Oh okay then. Well, you know where the door is." I answered him rolling my eyes.

"Yeah. Good luck in the test."

"Whatever." I mumbled to myself and showed the middle finger to Ashton who was already gone.

"He tried to kiss you?!"

"No! Actually I don't know! He wouldn't stop leaning in, Cal! Our noses touched, but only that."

After Ashton left, I started thinking about what he did. The fact we almost kissed never let my mind go. So, I called Calum hoping he would give me some advice. I was still a little angry at him but he was the closest person that I could call a friend.

"Dude! He totally wanted to kiss you!" Calum cheered.

"Of course not!"

"Of course yes Michael! Look I'm Calum Hood and I'm expert with kisses. And I'm pretty sure he did want to kiss you."

"Whatever you say." I closed my eyes and laid in my bed sighing.

A few minutes later, I felt a weight next to me. Soon after, there was an arm over my stomach, and a hand playing with my red hair. I looked to the left and saw Calum with his eyes closed and taking deep breaths.

"Did you feel you something?" I heard him ask quietly.

"What?"

"With Ashton. Did you feel anything while he leaned in?" He asked again.

"Uhm I don't know, I just started getting really nervous and I kind of stuttered and I couldn't really concentrate my mind was fuzzy and i felt a bit like throwing up...maybe I'm sick?"

"Michael! You're definitely into him!"

"No I'm not!" I defended myself, I don't have feelings for him. Not at all.

"Whatever you say." Calum said mocking me like before.

We then stayed in silent, and all we could hear was our breaths. Calum was still playing with my hair softly and this was making me sleepy. I snuggled more by his side resting my head on his chest and drawing patterns on his hand.

"Would you ever forgive Luke?" Cal asked also sleepy.

"If he apologized?" I asked and felt him nodding. "Yeah I would, but only with a honest apologize. You know, a real one coming right from his heart and stuff."

"That's good to hear."

"May I know why?"

"Now I know that, there is still hope to go back like the old times."

This was the last thing I heard from Calum before I fell asleep.

*

"Hey, Michael?"

I opened my eyes and regretted it instantly when the bright lights were burning them. Now with my hands capping the lights, I opened my eyes again and found Calum with a messy and 'just woke up' hair sitting next to me.

"Yeah?" I said slowly still feeling asleep.

"I got to go, it's getting late and my mom will be really worried." I controlled myself not to roll my eyes about what he just said.

"Calum Hood, I can't believe you just woke me up from that amazing nap just to tell me this. Grab some of my shirts and sleep over tonight dude." I said and closed my eyes again pulling the blanket over my head.

"Seriously?"

"Seriously."

"You know this could be our always."

"Shut the hell up Calum."
