By 8, all three women were seated at a cozy kitchen island with eggs, bacon, and some pancakes that (Y/n) managed to make while they showered.

"Wow!  (Y/n)-chan!  You can really cook, can't you!" Haruno was happily commenting as she giddily ate her three-course breakfast.

Naomi had gotten over her embarrassment from earlier rather quickly, and she happily ate her meal while she hummed in agreement to the bespectacled brunette.

"You make great pancakes!"

"I'm not really great at cooking, but I can follow a recipe.  Lately, I've been cooking for more than just me, so I've got a little used to waking up and cooking a larger meal."

Naomi smirked at the (hair color) haired woman and said, "Ohhh?  And who have you been cooking for, hmm~?"

(Y/n) smirked back to the girl as she said, "Why don't you take a guess, and I'll tell you if your close or not, hmm~?"

"DAZAI-SAN!" Yelled Naomi.

"I bet it's Dazai-san!"  Said Haruno.

(Y/n) rolled her eyes and said, "See, you didn't even need me to tell who it was before you guessed it."

"(Y/n)-chan, tell me, do you like like Dazai?"

(Y/n) didn't even take a moment to think as her head nodded in agreement.  She stuffed some eggs into her mouth as she said, "Yeah, I think I do.  He's nice, he's funny, he's really handsome, and he has a strange way to make me happy any time he's around."

Naomi brought her hands up to her cheeks as she squealed out, "Kyaaaa~  Are you going to tell him how you feel?"

Haruno nodded and said, "Please tell us you will tell him!  You know, he cares about you too!  He would jump at the opportunity to make things official with you!  And the President has already voiced his approval of you and him dating!"

(Y/n) almost choked on her bite of pancakes as she heard Haruno say the last bit of her statement.  "What?!  I call BS on that, Harunochi!  Since when did that old man want me to date?!  He always said I was never allowed to date anyone unless they were an upstanding citizen, and now all of a sudden he wants to hand me over to some suicidal maniac?  Yeah, right!"

Haruno shook her head and said, "No-no-no!  I heard him the other day talking to himself, and he said that he has never seen you so happy and that if it were because of 'that suicidal man, then I would give her my blessing.' The President is such a caring man!"

(Y/n) was taken aback by both the woman's words and the accuracy at which she was able to imitate Yuchiki.

(Y/n) brought a hand to her chin as she said, "Listen, what I'm going to tell you two CANNOT leave this house, got it?"

The pair nodded and Naomi made a motion on her mouth as if she were zipping it closed, locking it, and then throwing the imaginary key away.

"Well, Dazai called me this morning--"

"KYAAAAA~  How romantic!"

"Naomi, don't interrupt her!  Continue, (Y/n)."

"As I was saying, he called, and as we were hanging up, I asked him to tell me the real reason why he sent me here with you two.  He told me I would have to figure it out on my own, and I said I would tell him what I thought when I saw him next...  But I think I already know the reason why he did, and you both have just helped me conclude my hypothesis."

Haruno set her fork down when she finished eating and she looked right into (Y/n)'s eyes before she seriously asked, "What was the reason?"

(Y/n) took a deep breath and said, "I think that he not only sent me here to watch out for you two and to rest but also because he was worried I would get hurt if I was on one of the other defensive or offensive teams.  I think he really didn't want that to happen because he--- likes me-- as more than a friend."
