He was about to set her on the counter, when he somehow lost his footing.

Have you ever been in that moment where you know you messed up, and shits about to go down?

That was what Daniel felt like as he slipped on the tile floor and his eyes widened. He tried breaking their fall by holding onto the counter, but it didn't help much.

Isabel was able to unwrap her legs from his waist as she held onto him, making them spin a little. Daniel tried to hold her as they both fell, holding her like he was dipping her at a dance.

Isabel hit the floor first, her butt breaking most of the fall. While Daniel fell on top of her, breaking his fall by placing one hand on the ground while the other was still wrapped around Isabel's waist.

Isabel couldn't help but to burst out laughing.

"Owwww!" She said as her laughs filled the kitchen.

Daniel couldn't help but laugh with her as he groaned, an embarrassed blush appeared on his face.

"Daniel it's fine!" Isabel said, trying to stifle her laughs. She knew he probably felt bad, but to her it seemed hilarious.

"It's really not... I just dropped my girl!" He whined as he wrapped his arms around her waist, laying on her as she sat up slightly. Isabel's face heated up at Daniel calling her 'his girl'.

They had officially been together almost a year now, and she still wasn't used to it.

Her shoulders and head were leaning on the cabinets that were under the counter, and she was half-sitting up, wrapping her arms around him.

"Dani, I promise it's okay." She insisted, a few chuckles still slipping from her mouth. He leaned his head on her shoulder as she stroked his hair, their legs intertwined. Their breathing slowed as the craziness around them seemed to fade away.

"I totally ruined that moment. Didn't I..." He admitted nervously, burying his head further into her shoulder.

"Yeah. You did." Isabel said nonchalantly. Daniel sat up quickly, looking into her crystal eyes. His eyes filled with worry.

"But I like this moment a lot better." She said softly, a small smile formed on her lips.

Daniel grinned before sitting up and holding her face in his hands, planting a gentle kiss on her lips. "Me too."

"Hey, do you know what tomorrow is?" He asked as they both sat up fully, leaning their backs against the cabinets. Isabel slipped her hand under his arm and intertwined their hands, resting her head on his shoulder, while he rested his head on hers.

"No..."

"Wait...seriously?" He asked, lifting his head. Shock and a little hurt laced his voice.

"Of course I know what tomorrow is, babe. I was kidding." She laughed, and he breathed out. "How could I forget?" She questioned, as her smile grew wider.

"I don't know..." He said quietly.

"This relationship has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I could never forget the day you asked me to be your girlfriend." She said sheepishly.

"I guess I am pretty unforgettable." Daniel acknowledged, a smug look on his face.

"Shut up." Isabel laughed.

The pair sat in silence for a few minutes. It was a comfortable silence. Almost as if they were learning more about each other through the silence.

Before they could speak another word, Jack bursts into the kitchen soaking wet from head to toe.

"You guys need to stop teaching your niece how to throw things." He fumed.

"What happened?" Daniel asks as Jack goes to grab a kitchen towel. Isabel grimaces at Jack using a kitchen towel instead of a regular towel to dry himself but she lets him be, knowing he's already pissed.

"She snatched my phone like swiper the fox and chucked it into the pool. I tried to catch the phone before it fell in, but as you can see that didn't really work out very well. And now I'll probably need a new phone." He groaned.

"Damn. Sorry bro, but if anyone taught her to throw things it was probably you." Daniel remarked, and Isabel's face twisted as she tried to hold in a laugh.

Jack looked at him like he wanted to say something, but instead he just turned and walked out of the kitchen.

"You just love pissing people off today don't you?" Isabel giggled, standing up.

"It was a joke! And you're can't still mad at me...right?" Daniel asked as he put his hand out to hers, Isabel helping pull him up.

"Depends."

"Depends on what?"

"On if you can let me win in Mario Kart." She smirked, fixing the collar of his shirt.

"Oh angel, you ask for too much." He groans, although he knew that was far from true.

"I do not! But your loss." She shrugs, walking away backwards.

"You're annoying." He says walking after her.

"But you love me."

"Yeah yeah. Get me a remote." He sighs, a smile forming on his face as he watches her hop her way back to the living.

"All right everyone! Gather around!" Corbyn yelled, holding up his glass.

The whole group gathered in a weirdly shaped circle around the kitchen island, copying Corbyn's gesture and holding up their drinks.

Everyone there included: Corbyn, Lottie, Jonah, Wes (curled beside Jonah's feet), Daniel, Isabel, Jack, Gabbie, Lavender (who was asleep in Jack's arms with her head on his shoulder), Zach, Isabella, Sebastian, Jazmyn, Dave, and Emryn (who was also asleep in Jazmyn's arms).

"These few years that we've all known each other have been crazy. But they've also been amazing. We've gone through pain, hurt, fear, joy, and celebration together. I just want to say on behalf of me and the boys that this new album means a lot to us, and we couldn't have done it without our friends and family here to support us." The boys add an agreement to his words.

"We've witnessed special love, hard death, and new life, and we've gotten through it all, together. I toast today that we will never be separated, and will stick together always, through the good and through the bad. And lastly I toast to Kelly. Kelly was strong, determined, and a kind soul that was taken from us too soon. She will always be remembered, and we should show kindness everywhere, everyday, in every way, to remember her." He finished, taking a breath.

"To Kelly, and to the good and the bad."

"Cheers!" They all clinked their glasses together, taking a drink. All of them were beaming. Some had tears on their faces, and some were smiling like never before.

But as Isabel looked around the room at the now very familiar faces, she let a few tears run down her face, grinning as she slipped her free arm around Daniel's waist, and he wrapped his around her shoulders. She finally knew, that with her family and friends by her side, she could never ever again be defeated.
