Defeated (D.J.S)

A toast

Isabel is about to respond, but she is cut off by a splash sound that came from outside, followed by a, "LAVENDER MAY AVERY! YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE!"

Gabbie just gives Isabel a tired look before running outside to see what happened.

Sebastian shrugs and continues fixing the last streamer.

"Is there any food I can eat right now? I don't wanna eat something that we need, but if there is something already open..." Isabel asks Sebastian, rocking on her heels.

"Umm... I think there is like a box of cookies open-" Sebastian starts, but Isabel is already jogging toward the kitchen before he finishes talking.

"Don't eat them all!" He shouts.

"No promises!" She shouts back, smiling as she finds the open box of M&M cookies. She scans through the row of cookies before grabbing one with a bunch of M&M's. She is about to put the cookie in her mouth, until she feels a pair of arms wrap slip around her waist from behind her.

"Daniel, you make me lose, and now you're not even gonna let me eat my cookie peacefully. Unbelievable."

Daniel just rests his chin on her left shoulder as he pulls her back, closer to his chest.

"No, what's unbelievable, is how gorgeous you are." He mutters as he starts placing soft kisses on Isabel's shoulder and neck, making a shiver go through her whole body.

"Stop trying to compliment me as your way of apologizing. It's not working." She huffs, but her voice wavers.

"Mhmm. Totally. Not working." He mumbles in between kisses. Isabel bites her lip gently, trying to control herself from melting into butter from his lips on her skin.

He had done this before, so he knew the effect it had on her. But for some reason Isabel didn't know how his touch could still make her so weak.

Daniel's hands gradually started going lower on Isabel's abdomen.

"Daniel." Isabel breathed out in a warning tone as she put the cookie down. "D-don't start."

"And why not?" He whispered in her ear.

"Because you won't be able to finish." She said, before turning around and attaching their lips.

Daniel seemed a bit taken back a first, but pushed his lips harder on hers when he caught on.

The cold marble countertop pressed against Isabel's back as her hands ran across his shoulders and chest. Daniel's hands rubbed her sides as he tried pulling her closer. He tried slipping his tongue into this kiss when she opened her mouth slightly, letting out a shaky moan. But Isabel wasn't letting him in that fast, and their tongues fought for dominance.

Daniel managed to slip his tongue in fully as he brought his hand further down on her body. As he kissed her he inhaled her scents.

The fresh scent of the jasmine flower and a hint of cinnamon filled his body, warming him from the inside out.

He would never be able to get enough of her. And that was something he had come to terms with a long time ago. She was everything he wanted, needed, and more. She completed him in every way.

As their lips moved in sync he couldn't help but think of how lucky he was.

Isabel's body was craving for more, but she knew she couldn't take it very far, since they were standing in the kitchen.

Daniel didn't seem to care though. He muttered a low, "jump", against her eager lips. He adjusted his hands to be directly under her bum as she jumped and wrapped her legs around him.
