today is finally the day that he’ll be attending his first love’s birthday party, and it dreaded him.

he had to admit that he hates going to any celebrations, especially because he's always tired. but he can't say no anymore, he already agreed.

staring at himself in the mirror, war smiled slightly. he only wore decent clothes, but for him, he already looked good. (it's true ͡°͜ʖ͡° )

sighing, he raked his hair upwards for the last time before going outside. locking his apartment as he headed to where Yin’s birthday will be held.

once he arrived, he was instantly greeted by a big luxurious five star hotel. “damn.” war swore he could just run away and go back to his own house—but it was all too late.

he shook his head as he gathered full courage and finally stepped inside the hall, bowing directly at the guard who sent him a charming smile. puffing out breaths, he walked around the silent estate.

a cocktail of nervousness, excitement and doubts started to mix inside him again once he found the number of the room.

when he was about to open the door, he heard a familiar voice calling out his name from afar. he hesitantly turned around, seeing Mark and Yin running towards his direction.

“P’war!” mark exclaimed, jumping on the older’s arms as War immediately hugged him. they exchanged embrace, whilst Yin watched the scene, smile vanishing.

once the hug broke, War faced his junior who seemed to be waiting for him to utter a word.

“ah. happy birthday, Anan. you’re finally an adult.”

“but still a game maniac.” mark added, smirking at the birthday celebrant who only shrugged his shoulder.

war snickered, shaking his head. a yelp escaped from him after Yin dragged them inside. he immediately saw Yin’s family and the other guests, now sitting at the table, looking at them.

“oh, war and mark you're finally here!” mrs. wong beamed, gesturing for them to take a seat. the three bowed, taking a seat in their assigned tables.

yin sat across War who's already staring at him with a small smile.

“happy—” before war can finish his sentence, the door opened.

Yin froze upon seeing the uninvited guest

“ploy?”
