I'm finally back in school from Christmas break! Oh how I missed it! Not even the extra homework I begged my teachers to give me helped. Nothing beats walking into school again after a long time off.

My day today was going great. Until, I, Jeanine Matthews, ended up in detention for the first, and last time in my entire life.

We were in science class discussing our projects for the science fair. Mr. Hoffman was giving us a speech about how he didn't expect us to have this great experiment that leads to the next scientific breakthrough. Of course, I thought this was slightly a daft opinion because I was working on a project I would later call the aptitude test.

I suppose your wondering how I got detention, so I'll get on with the story.

Mr. Hoffman proceeded to say how he didn't expect us to all be in white lab coats one day. I, unfortunately, used this as a cue to lip off.

Worst mistake ever.

I didn't even bother to raise my hand. "But Mr. Hoffman! We all know nobody will be in white lab coats! They'll be in blue ones!"

I'm mentally rolling my eyes at my stupidity right now. Not my best idea. Of course being the strict teacher Hoffman was, he gave me detention.

Then I was forced to write lines during lunch.

I guess I'm mainly upset about smudging my perfect record. I'd rather write "I will not lip off to my teacher" a hundred times instead of being forced to associate with people during lunch.

I'm pretty sure Andrew took it harder then I did.

I guess. I have nothing more to vent about today.

Goodbye lovelies!

Could that have gotten any more cliché?
