"Lie Is No Trust"

Trust is like a sword,

That has been sliced into you,

Waiting to be pulled out,

And suck your life through.

Imagine that happening,

For a million times tonight;

Feel the gash and blood trickling...

As you slowly lose sight.

But then after feeling the gory pain,

You realize you're numbed--

Too empty to feel anything,

Too cold to see the sun.

For a moment there, you'd ask 'Why?'

And in two seconds you fall,

Once the sword's been pulled out,

It can stay with you no more.

For another sword to appear,

You'd have to die and live again;

Because the taint you scarred,

Lives to stay till the end.

Because you die and have amnesia,

You repeat the same mistakes.

We'll just hope that that time around.

You got what it takes.

Once another cycle's broken,

That trust would be a lie,

Torn into ashes that's poison,

We can never meet eye to eye.

So be careful with this heart of mine,

Don't treat it like a toy!

I'm not a freaking animal.

I'm just a lost boy.

It's not that I don't trust you--

Wait, that's the thing.

Try to understand where I'm at

On everything.

I lost my footing in this world.

I almost lost myself.

To find who I was again,

Was a myth I could never tell.

I lived like I were dying--

Not literal in a sense--

To live invisible and to hide,

All my shady presence.

I was afraid of the sword,

To wield itself into me.

I wasn't sure if I could bear

The pain again completely.

Be gentle, be wise--

Choose your quarter's side,

Heads or tails, Stranger,

Do. Not. Ever. LIE.
