"Acceptance"
I'm sitting here drinking hot chocolate,
The night breeze cool against my skin,
As thoughts suddenly came rushing by,
Of who I was, where I have been.Maybe today was not a good today,
But maybe today was meant to be,
A good day of a bad one,
Too bittersweet for me.Sometimes life doesn't happen,
Like the life in your dreams,
But life's better that way,
Than a sweet kiss of what seems.Life's never fair,
But so are you;
It cancels out like forces,
To balance judgment through.And as I close my eyes tonight,
I'll finally feel at peace,
The weight has been lifted;
I am now at ease.© WhiteSecrets715 2015.

PoetryMy third poetry collection. This is basically how my university life went: Crazy, drama, loopy, happy, and genuine bitter partings. It'd be great if you could read some and tell me what you think about them. I'd really appreciate your thoughts!
