"The Wait"
Waiting's a monster;
It eats you up inside;
Those smiles won't last
These feelings you hide.Waiting is hurting
Yourself and I;
'Cause distance won't break
This wretched lie.Waiting is timeless;
It's an infinity;
Those hours are endless...
It drives you crazy.Waiting is hell;
It is pure agony!
The kind of love
That Kills you softly.The wait is near,
Yet so far;
A bittersweet song
Plays in the car.My heartbeat's frozen as
Clouds passed by,
Shaped like your face--
I wonder why.The wait is real--
I can survive!
A few more minutes...
'Til I'm alive.(c) WhiteSecret715 2015.
