We've been settled in Chicago for a good two weeks now and I actually loving it I thought I was gone break down and cry after the first week.
My dad been gone every since we moved here but he should be back anytime today. "Li go sort out that box I'm about to go in the city and get some Harolds" my mom said bringing me out of thought
"Gone ahead we got this right" my auntie Molly said I nodded smiled my auntie is actually twenty two years older then me but she act like my sister.
The box got my name on it so I took it to my room and we straighten up the house and until in walks my dad "Li gyal where yew at?" He asked
"Right here daddy" I ran and jumped on him he laughed and put me down
"I got yew a lwittle surprise" he said moving his finger in circling motion telling me to turn around I did as told I heard the house door open and shut "okay lwook" he said I turned to be face to face with a all black Pomeranian I took it out his hand so quick "it's fa not acting like a complete brat about this move" I smiled
"It's a girl?" He nodded "I'm going to name you Blue" I said
"Ouuu spell it b l e u or b l u" Molly said
"Ouuu b l e u " my dad started chuckled
"Where's yo motha" he asked
"She went to Harolds" I said "Aunt Molly can you take me to Walmart I gotta get my baby somethings"
"Yeah come on" she said grabbing her keys
"Daddy can you please watch your granddaughter I'll be back in few" I held my hand out he chuckled and shook his head
"Sure" he said he handed me his credit card
"Hol auntie take my picture please " I handed over my phone and she got to snapping away
She handed me back my phone and we left out and hoped in her car while listened to music our whole to Walmart which was ten minutes away
She parked her car we hoped out and she locked the doors behind us we made our way into Walmart and I grabbed a cart.
"Can you push because I'm finna go crazy with picking out stuff" I said she chuckled I pulled my phone out and scrolled through Instagram

"Better then I thought" I said picking up a dog bed
"That's good to hear have you spoken to Vell?" she asked
"Yeah he told me he was well and he a be home soon you know" I said she nodded I went to look at the dog food
"What about your boyfriend?" She asked
"He call and text me all day everyday" I playfully rolled my eyes "I can't get a break from that boy I tell you" I said finally deciding to pick the soft food
"Boys" we chuckled "so what school you looking to go to?" She asked
"My dad want me to go to a charter school but I want to go to the one you and mommy went to humm Simeon" I said trying to remember their school name
"Simeon career academy" she smiled "you'll love it there I promise them was the days" she said reminiscing

"You live in the burbs ion know how that'll work" she said
"I have transportation it'll work you know why?" I asked
"Why?"
"Because money talks and bullshit walks and my parents have lots of moneys" I said chuckled
"They sure do" I grabbed the cart from her "we done here" I nodded and we went to self check out and made out way back to my house.
"I know you still sick about the move but let me tell you I'm going to make your days in Chicago litttt" she dragged the last word I chuckled and nodded
