Chapter 13

The two continued to walk. Poppy noticed the expression on Barbs face. She looked almost scared. Poppy held her hand for comfort

"You ok?" Poppy asked

"U-uhh yeah.." Barb said

They both arrived to Buddy's and went inside

"Buddy? Buddy you here?" Poppy asked

They heard a thud in the other room. Poppy noticed Barb flinch. They saw a Troll close to Smidges height.

"Buddy! You're here!" Poppy smiled

The two of them hugged

"Oh by the way, thanks for getting rid of that stab wound. I owe you one." Poppy said

"Oh it was nothing Poppy! Anything for a friend." Buddy said with a smile

"Uhh Poppy?" Barb called

Poppy turned around to Barb and smiled

"Oh Buddy! This is Barb, my girlfriend." Poppy introduced

"H-hi.." Barb waved timidly

"Hi!" Buddy smiled

"Anyway Buddy. Barb's been going through a lot. You think you could help?" Poppy asked

"What's been going on?" Buddy asked

"Well uhh..."

Poppy put her hand on Barbs shoulder and smiled. Poppy took a deep breath then looked at Buddy

"Her friend. Well more like ex-friend, has been treating Barb like a toy. She almost killed me to get to Barb. She also raped Barb, and even gave her a hickey and bruises. You can tell." Poppy said

"Hmmm..." Buddy looked around in his books

"She's also tried being nice and then she switches to a violent person." Barb added

"Seems like you're dealing with a yandere." Buddy said

"A yan-whata?" Poppy asked

"He said yandere. Try and keep up Pop-Squeak." Barb teased

Poppy playfully elbowed Barb

"There's two ways to get rid of her. You can either A- Kill her, or B- stay away and hope for the best." Buddy said

His words only made Barb panic. Poppy noticed and grabbed her hand. She rubbed her fingers gently on Barbs hand

"What do you want to do?" Poppy asked

"She won't leave me alone. She's like a virus. And you have to get rid of a virus." Barb said

Barb looked at Buddy

"I'll try to kill her. I can't guarantee it'll work, but I'll try my best. I'll face my fear." Barb said

Poppy looked at her and smiled. Buddy looked at the two and suddenly smiled

"Well I'm that case I have a few ways to get rid of her." Buddy said

They both looked at him

Poppy and Barb then left Buddy's heading to Carols place. It made Barb panic every step they took. Poppy put her hand on Barbs shoulder as they continued to walk

"Hey." Poppy suddenly said

Barb looked at her

"It'll be ok. I'll be outside if anything goes wrong. Ok?" Poppy told her

Barb took a deep breath and forced a smile

"O-ok." Barb said

They arrived at Carols. Barb was too afraid to even step towards the door. Poppy looked at Barb and noticed the fear

"Hey, everything will be ok. If anything goes wrong just yell blueberry." Poppy said

"B-blueberry? That's the code word?" Barb asked her

"What? I like blueberries." Poppy said

"Fine. Fine. I'll yell blueberry." Barb said

"Great!" Poppy stood proud

"That's so stupid.." Barb muttered under her breath

Barb approached the door and looked at the doorknob

"Ok Barbara you can do this. It'll be like visiting a dead person! Yeah sure if a dead person is waiting to have fun with you. Shut it Barb! You shut it Barb!" Barb then realized that she was talking to herself

"You going inside or do you want me to do." Poppy asked her

"I'll- Ill do it. She's my virus." Barb said

Barb then opened the door and stepped inside as she looked inside the room

"WAIT!!" Poppy yelled

Barb jumped

"Don't do that!!" Barb whisper yelled

"Right sorry. Just take this. Just in case." Poppy whispered

Poppy handed her a walkie talkie

"A walkie- are you a child Popcorn?" Barb asked in a whisper

"I think it's better than going in with just a weapon." Poppy said

"These things are loud dude!" Barb told her

"Just go! And remember it's blueberry." Poppy said

Barb saw her stand by the door outside. Barb sighed and began looking around for Carol. Barb honestly felt super anxious and uncomfortable looking for her by herself. What if Carol was already waiting for her? What if-
