Chapter 11

The three continued to walk. Sid and Riff were chatting in front of Barb as she followed them. They kept looking back at her. It made Barb a little uneasy

Just great. She couldn't even trust her friends anymore

"I think Barb should stay with you." Riff said

"Yeah that's a good idea. Carol never comes to me. It would be safer." Sid said

Riff nodded to agree. They stopped walking

"Hey Barb, uhh you'll stay with me. Is that alright?" Sid asked

"Anywhere is better than being with Carol." Barb said

Sid and Riff noticed that she gave no emotion when she talked. It worried them. They both looked at each other nervously

"Well great. Let's go then." Sid said

The two left as Riff went home

"What's been going on?" Sid asked

Barb didn't want to answer. She just stayed quiet

"Both you and Carol were so close when we were kids. What happened to that?" Sid asked

"Well gosh hmmm gee I don't know! Maybe because she's TURNED INTO A TOTALLY DIFFERENT PERSON SINCE ME AND POP-SQUEAK STARTED DATING!!" Barb yelled

Barb's expression changed. She missed Poppy so much. Barb fell to the ground. Sid quickly went to her side to at least try to help. Sid noticed tears coming out of his queens eyes

"Barb? You're crying.." Sid said

"I just- I don't know what to do Sid. I-I miss Poppy so much I- it's my fault she got killed!" Barb told him

Sid looked at her in a stunned looked

"Everythings been my fault." Barb said

She hugged her legs and laid her head down. Sid put his hand on her back for comfort

"Nothings been your fault. Carol is being stupid. That's what's wrong. You've done nothing wrong." Sid told her

Barb looked at him in doubt. Sid saw no emotion in her eyes. Just tears, but no emotion. It kind of scared him

"Whatever Carol did to you must've messed you up." Sid said

"Let's just go to your place already." Barb said

She stood up and walked away. Sid sighed and followed her

They arrived. Barb looked around and went to the bathroom. Sid grabbed her arm. Barb flinched. Sid understood why and immediately let go

"Where are you going?" Sid asked

Barb hesitated and took a deep breath

"Y-your bathroom?" Barb said, uncertain

"Why?" Sid asked

"To use the bathroom." Barb answered with sarcasm

"Oh right. I feel kind of stupid now. Uhh it's the last door to the right." Sid told her

"Yeah thanks man." Barb said

Barb went inside Sids bathroom and started looking around for something. She saw something out of the corner of her eye. Barb turned to look at it and saw a blade

"Why would Sid have this out in the-"

Barb stopped talking. She probably knew what it was for. Barb looked at Sids razor and the shower and felt like puking. But this one hasn't been used yet. She could tell

Barb grabbed the blade and looked into the mirror. She was an absolute mess. Barb pressed the blade against her arm. She felt a pain in her arm. Barb looked in the mirror and saw blood coming out of her arm

Barb then put the blade on her wrist till she heard a loud bang from the vents. Barb then stopped. She put the blade down and looked at the vents.

There was no way Carol found her already. Right?
