Barb grabbed the closet thing she could find and stared at the vents as the banging got louder. The vent flew off its hinges and hit the door. Barb felt an immediate fear

She saw someone come out of the vents. Someone she didn't expect to see. It was....

"P-Poppy?" Barb said, she was surprised to even see her

The Troll looked at her with a smile

"Barb! I'm so glad you're ok." Poppy said

They hugged

Poppy noticed the cut on Barbs arm that she made

"Oh no! What happened?" Poppy asked

"Umm.."

Barb immediately covered the cut

"It-it's nothing Pop-Squeak." Barb said

Poppy looked worried

"What...what happened while I was gone?" Poppy asked

Barb looked at her. She didn't know how to explain. So many things had happened. Barb didn't want to talk about it. She didn't want to relive it

"A-a lot happened. I don't want to talk about it." Barb said

Poppy noticed the hickey and bruises on Barb

"Hey, it's ok. She won't touch you again, ok? You're safe. No one is going to hurt you." Poppy said

The two of them hugged again. Poppy patted Barbs bare back. She knew Barb was completely shirtless. Poppy sighed and gave Barb a tight hug

"You don't have to tell me everything, but what happened?" Poppy asked again

"Umm..."

Barb rubbed her arm

"Carol...she- we- it was terrible Poppy. She-she's been treating me like a toy! I-I've been.....I've even been questioning my own life." Barb said

Poppy saw tears coming from her eyes

"Ohh Barb. It's ok. Hey here's an idea. One where she'll never find us." Poppy said

She grabbed Barbs hands. Poppy put her hand on Barb cheek for her to look

"We'll run away together. You'll never have to worry about her again. Because we'll get to her first." Poppy said with a smile

Barb whipped her tears

"What do you mean?" Barb asked

"Let's just day I know a guy who knows a guy that will get rid of Carol." Poppy said

Barb seemed to like what Poppy was talking about

"Can we go see him?" Barb asked

"Of course! COME ON!!" Poppy said with a smile

They left from the vent that Poppy came from. Barb missed her. She was glad Poppy was back. She missed her positivity, her touch, her smile, her eyes, everything. And it was back, her girlfriend was back, and that's all that mattered to Barb

They both successfully got out. Poppy and Barb both held hands as they continued to leave. Barb kind of felt a bit anxious as did. What if Carol saw? Poppy noticed the uneasy feeling

"You ok?" Poppy asked

"Yeah....yeah...umm what's your friends name?" Barb asked, trying to change the subject

"Oh! His name is Buddy, Buddy Flirtwood." Poppy answered

"Buddy....Flirtwood...." Barb said

"Yeah! He's very nice. He deals with this stuff all the time." Poppy said

Barb has her doubts

"He's dealt with crazy friends obsessing over the other?" Barb asked

"Yeah! He knows how to get rid of it." Poppy said

Barb liked the sound of that

"We'll run away together right after." Barb said with a smile

"That's for sure. I love you Barbie." Poppy smiled

"Yeah, I love you too Popcorn." Barb said with a smile

They continued to go to Poppy's friends. Poppy would obviously talk for Barb. Poppy was just so glad to be reunited with her again. She missed Barbs voice
