I bit my lip as I tapped my pen loudly against my journal, before pressing blue ink against the blank page staring back at me.
"It has been exactly 3 months since Calum Hood and I have been together."
I write.
(Sort of.)
Going out rather, but not really.
Dating, even...just without the dates, I guess.
Ugh.
Out of frustration, I tear the sheet of paper apart and crumple it between my hands, before chucking it away, along with the rest of the paper balls that had mocked me. All together, they sat on my floor.
To be able to even say that mere sentence aloud to myself was already ridiculous whether in public or private and it was seemingly more and more impossible to do and surreal to even write altogether.
I let out a sigh so loud, the neighbours probably heard it, then proceeded to try writing in my journal a fourth time.
It has been exactly 3 months since Calum Hood, left England for America, then Australia, then America again. I, on the other hand, have just been in England.
For several weeks, we have kept in touch through the following ways:
1) On most days of the week, we communicate via email.
This is the most common method as his rehearsal hours and song-writing hours with the band have not been as forgiving since he and the boys stayed in America. The band had been very busy, meeting up to write with all sorts of different people in the music industry, improving their current album and working on their next.
2) Some days, Calum and I speak through Skype, however, only when our time zones and internet connections were both working accordingly in our favor. (But, we all know Skype can be such a dick sometimes)
This is the most enjoyable and tedious way we speak through, as although we can see each other and our conversations last for up to almost 6 hours, it usually ends up with either one of us feeling incredibly lonely by the end.
3) Every single day, Calum and I talk through pictures in Snapchat.
Personally, this was the best way we spoke through, as doing so felt like we are still a part of each other's everyday lives. Every day, we send each other a picture or two, of all sorts of things that we see : the food we ate, sunrises, sunsets, puppies, nudes (jk...sort of), occasionally one of the boys' asses, ourselves, and anything else that reminded us of one another really.
