Chapter twenty four: the ministry

Start from the beginning

"How's that MudBlood mother of yours?" Lestrange asked with a crooked smile "And Longbottom how are your parents?"

Bellatrix had killed Nevilles parents years ago. Neville looked at Ophelia for a moment "Better now that their about to be avenged." He said while raising his wand at Lestrange.

"Now, let's everybody just calm down," Lucius said while raising his eyebrows. "All we want is that prophecy."

"Why did Voldemort need me to come and get this." Harry asked.

"You dare speak his name," Bellatrix said "You filthy HalfBlood!" She called out.

Lucius began to ramble on to Harry, trying to get him to give him the prophecy. Ophelia was too distracted to listen to him. More Death Eaters were approaching the group by the second. "Don't you want to know the secret of your scar?" The older Malfoy came closer to Harry "All the answers are there, locked in your hand," he paused "All you have to do is give to me, I can show you everything."

Ophelia turned around, while raising her wand at the one of the Death Eater, who was coming awfully close to her.

"I've waited 14 years." Potter told Malfoy.

"I know." He frowned at Harry.

"Guess I can wait a little longer," He paused for a moment "Now!" He yelled.

"Stupefy!" The seven shouted, pointed their wands at each Death Eater.

The group began to sprint down the hallway. Lucius appeared in front of them with his hand raised. They turned the corner, trying to get away.

After long moments of running and throwing stunning charms at any Death eater that stood in their way, Ophelia's legs were starting to get tired. The group stopped in the middle of one of the rows. As another one of the Dark Lords followers stood in their way. "Reducto!" Ginny casted at the man, making him fly backwards.

Ophelia's eyes widen as the glass orbs that once sat peacefully on the rows of shelves, began to crash onto the floor. The seven kids started to run once again, trying not to get hit with the prophecies.

They sprinted to the door and shoved it open. As the tumbled into the entrance, Ophelia let out a loud scream as they unexpectedly started to fall, realizing that the door led to a high drop. Their bodies came to a stop as they closely hovered over the ground before dropping completely, making them land with a huff.

The group slowly got up from the rock like ground. Harry began to inch closer to a large arch in the middle of the room.

"Voices," He said a he walked closer "Can you tell what they are saying?"

"There aren't any voices Harry." Ophelia said with a concern tone. "Let's get out of here."

"I can hear them too," Luna's tone was dreamy and curious.

"Harry it's just an empty arch way," Hermione tried to tell him as Potter kept his eyes on the thing in the middle of the room. "Please Harry,"

Potter turned around "Get behind me!" He called out to the group as he raised his wand.

They all did as Harry said and raised there wands like he did.

The Death Eaters soared above them, taking them off guard. Ophelia ducked as she felt something or someone grab her.

The next thing she knew was being held with a wand to her neck, much like she was when she watched her mother die.

Harry was the only one who wasn't being held. Lucius appeared and walked over to him. "Did you actually think," He started "Were you naïve enough to think that children, stood a chance against us?" He held out his hand "Give me the prophecy now, or watch your friends die."

Ophelia clenched her jaw as Harry glanced around the room at all of the group, seeing that they were all being held by different Death Eaters. He started to lift up his hand "Don't give it to him Harry!" Woodlock called out, causing her haired to be pulled but whoever was grabbing her. She watched as he began to give the older Malfoy the prophecy.

He handed it to him. "Get away from my Godson." A voice sounded from behind Lucius, making him turn around to see Sirius Black.

Sirius launched back his arm and punched Malfoy right in the nose.

Ophelia's eyes were wide as she watched a white shades of light come into the room. People from the Order started to appear one by one.

She couldn't even process what was going on, spell, after spell was being fired and the Death Eater who was once holding onto her, was gone.

A girl with brown like hair -who she later found out was named Nymphadora Tonks- grabbed onto Ophelia, Luna, and Ginny and pulled them behind a large rock type thing, trying to keep them hidden.

Woodlock gulped as she tried to calm her breathing down. She subconsciously reached up to her nose, thinking her glasses would be there. Her mouth went slack as she realized they weren't on her face anymore. She hadn't even realized they were gone.

    "Shit."

    "What is it?" Ginny asked.

"My glasses." She blinked a few times, a headache starting to catch on from not having them on.

"There they are," Luna pointed to her glasses, which were a few feet away, where everyone was dueling.

"Don't worry," Nymphadora said to Ophelia "I'll get them."

She carefully stepped out into the open, trying not to get hit with a spell. Nymphadora reached down and quickly grabbed them, and hurried back to the hidden spot. "Here." She handed them to Ophelia.

"Thank you so much." She let out a sigh as she placed them on.

The group of four realized that the shouts spells had died down. "We should get going." Nymphadora said to the girls. They started to make their way towards one of the doors.

Though they immediately stopped as a loud heartbreaking scream filled their ears.
