                   (this chapter is in first person)
after realizing that we both had been staring at each other for too long i bent down to pick up my board

it was a bit brighter out so you could see the blood all over your hand

there was no point in hiding it now you had already gotten it all over his hand.

you thought he would be scared or censored but he had no reaction to the blood.

after you picked up your board and brushed your self off you looked around and saw you had no idea where you were.

you didn't really care ,you knew your parents wouldn't either

you heard the boy clear his throat and start to speak.

"what are you doing out here".

his voice was soft and calming. you stuttered a bit

"we-well i could ask the same".

you both just stared awkwardly at each other after that response.

"so you skate"?

"yeah"

"cool".

"mhm"

"im killua"

"ryn"

"thats an odd name"

"yeah thanks"

blood was still pouring out of your hand.

"are you okay"?

before you could say or do anything killua grabbed your hand and examined it carefully tracing the wound with his finger

your usual reaction to any touch was to pull away but you didnt ...you let him touch and hold your hand

something about his hands were different. they were soft and warm

"how did you even-"

he started talking but was stopped by the sudden retract of your nails.

"i can't control it"

he giggled and placed his hand fully on top of yours and did the same thing with his nails.

you looked at him with surprise and anger you hated people being better than you.

"don't be a show off" you said with a grin

killua was in mid sentence before saying "lets go" and gripping your hand and taking off sprinting.

you didn't pull back or stumble behind you ran with him you had no idea where you were going but you wanted to stay with him

after running for a short while you heard a voice

"KILLUA"!

killua sped up a bit and then slowed down turning a corner to a area of grass with a tree

"were here"

there was another boy with spiky hair and green shorts on. you guessed he was the boy who called killua

"whos this"? the boy said

"a friend" killua said

"hi im gon"! the boy said very happily and tried to reach for your hand.

you pulled your hand away and stepped back you didn't want to get blood all over him.

you showed him the blood on your hand so he didn't think you were being mean.

killua was next to you with one hand in his pocket

gon looked at killua and his hand that had blood all over it he gasped

"KILLUA DID U DO THAT"!?

"WHAT NO"!

they started arguing and i just stepped back to set my skateboard down.

it was almost fully bright outside

you sat down and enjoyed the boys arguing trying to contain your laugh

you started to giggle softly and gon and killua stopped mid argument to look at you.

"whats so funny"? killua said pouting

"you are"! you said while you burst out laughing

the boys smiled along before gon asked a question

"anyways, killua where did you meet.... i never got your name".

"ryn".

"met her last night skateboarding".

"you should stay with us!" gon said exitedly

your eyes widened for a second and then started to consider it. you definitely didnt want to go back home and this was the only other choice.

"are you okay with that killua"? gon asked killua

"well.... if you want to come" killua looked at you

"i- ..... okay" you said.

you saw a smile form on killuas lips you could tell he wanted to hide it but he couldnt.

his small smile made you smile.

"well where too next"!?

"lunch". killua said sternly

"oh right". gon said while picking up his jacket

you stood up and walked behind the boys following slowly.

you could tell you had made the right decision. you already enjoyed being around them. 'yay' you said in your head. you had a sigh of relief and knew this was going to be fun.

AN, ok so i realized how much i suck at writing but this is fun i guess i will keep updating this for me and you thanks ✨ i keep re reading this chapter and it sucks- 🥲
