Ash had just come home from winning the Alola League when all his friends, except for Max, Bonnie, and Gary, betray him. He goes and trains with his Pokémon and his true friends on Mt. Coronet. Then 5 years later they are invited to the annual Champ...
Ever since then, he and his true friends had been training together. They were all strong, but none were stronger than Ash. The reason he was champion of the mountain was because many people had come to challenge him, but all had left in defeat. His friends would usually referee but now and then, they would so be challenged by a trainer. People thought that since they lived and trained with the Champion of the Mountain, they would also be strong. They were right in believing this. Even though Bonnie and Max were new to being trainers, each of them had only been beaten a handful of times, the same could be said for Gary, while Ash kept his winning streak. Max, Bonnie, and Gary probably had the power of an elite four member.
Another thing that happened, was that Ash, Max, and Bonnie were legally sibling. They had signed papers that made them legally siblings. Ash had also gotten his license changed. His name on his license was Red Satoshi. He changed it so he could enter tournament and stuff without being recognized. But his friends still called him Ash, and everyone who challenged him, knew him as Shadow.
"Ash! Dinner's ready!" Gary called out. Ash put eevee on the ground and got up. He went over to his friends and started eating. They lived in a cave but they had made it look like a home. When they all finished eating they went over to their pokemon and returned them to their pokeballs. Max and Bonnie had been trainers for the couple of years. Max's starter was treeko and Bonnie's starter was fennekin. Bonnie's team is braixen, altaria, dedenne, flareon, fletchling, amaura, aromatisse, tyrunt, azurill, gorebyss, cutiefly, snom, wooloo, milcery, alcremie, hattrem, flabebe, ponyta (galarian form), gossifleur, indeedee, sinistea, shiinotic, morpeko. Max's team is grovyle, gallade, growlithe, ponyta, blitzle, rufflet, phantump, drifloon, munchlax, seadra, murkrow, nickit, perrserker, darumaka (galarian form), thwackey, skwovet, obstagoon, drednaw, centiskorch, carkol, toxel.

Just then, a pidgey flew towards Ash and and gave his him a letter. After the pidgey flew off, Ash opened the letter and read it.
Dear Red Satoshi,
I hope you got this letter, for that pidgey is not one of my best messengers. Anyhow, you and your friends have been selected to participate in the annual Championship Trainers Tournament. It will take place on Boon Island, exactly 2 months from now. You will chose between the contests or the battles. They will take place every other day. To participate in either, you must get through the preliminary round. The preliminary round will pit trainers against each other in a double battle based on witch category you signed up to participate in. You will be aloud to have 6 Pokémon, but you can change your team once the preliminary rounds are over. I hope you and your friends are able to make it. Hotel rooms and anything else you need will be provided, free of expense for you and your friends. Of course, the traitors will have to pay. Hope to see you there!
