And since Eggman has two, and the Typhoon has three.
Do some quick maths an you got seven.

All seven chaos emeralds have been found.

Well not yet tho.
You know where they are...
But just don't have them yet
Where are they? In the Materex base.
Brilliant isn't it.

"How do you know we can't break in unless you try" Knuckles argued.

"You saw what happened to that meteorite. It's too dangerous" Tails argued right back.

"Hey guys, we need to come up with a plan here" Sonic said, trying to calm them down.

"Don't worry about that Sonic. I've got it all figured out" Eggman appeared on the main screen out of nowhere.

"I have a proposal for you"

"I've got to hear this" Sonic slowly nodded.

"Why don't we join our forces and work together"

"What's that?"

"We shouldn't work with Eggman, he's trying to trick us"

"Chao, Chao" Cheese agreed.

"Yeah don't even think about it Knuckles" Amy said and stared at him.

"I didn't say anything" Knuckles said, pointing at himself.

"I think we should work with Eggman. Our chances are better that way" Sonic nodded.

All of you knew Eggman was gonna do something.
Either escape or double cross you and attack.
But nobody said anything, in case he was eavesdropping.
Which he most definitely was.

"I agree with Sonic" Tails nodded.

You all nodded in response.

"Alright, let's go for it Eggman" Sonic said,  looking up at the main screen.

"So, how are we gonna get in the base" Chris asked.

"We can sneak in without getting caught by using Chaos control"

The screen changed from Eggman's face to Shadow.

That made sence.
He does have the most experience with Chaos Control out of everyone.

The screen changed again.
This time it was of the Materex base.

"Here's what we'll do.
The first group in will head for the computer that controls the security system.
They're responsible for shutting it down.
Then the rest of us can sneak into the base undetected" Eggman said.

"Sounds cool" Sonic  nodded.

"What'll we do when we find the emeralds though. Will we share them fifty-fifty" Knuckles asked.
