Chapter 30: Thunderstorm Pt. 1

After a while of talking, we decided that we'll all stick together.

"So what do you guys wanna do now?" Jiwoo asked.

"Let's just walk around." Miyeon said.

"Okay" the rest of us agreed.

We all then got up and walked around. Soon after we walked around, we heard loud thunder followed by lightning and the lights went out. Suddenly some of the students that were in the hallways started screaming, including some of the girls.

I then summoned a lightning ball to give us a little bit of light.

"Cool. A blackout." I said.

"At least now we know why classes are canceled." Jiwoo said.

"Wanna go to our room?" Aisha asked.

"Sure" everyone replied.

We then went to me and Aisha's room with me guiding them.

At our dorm room...

All of us were now in our room. I then went in my bag and got out a few candles that I brought from home. I lit them up and placed them around the room until there was enough light for us to see.

"Can everyone see?" I asked.

"Yeah" everyone said.

"Aren't those the candles that I gave you?" Jiwoo asked.

"Some of them" I said.

I then sat on the window seat and Aisha laid down on her bed.

"Make yourselves at home." I said.

Soyeon sat with me and I wrapped my arm around her. Jiwoo laid down on my bed along with Yiren. Mia and Minnie laid down with Aisha on her bed.

"Glad to see you still have the gifts I gave you." Jiwoo said.

"Of course" I said.

Soyeon then snuggled closer to me.

"You okay?" I asked her.

"Yeah" Soyeon replied.

I kissed her on the cheek and tighten my hold around her.

"You two are just too cute." Aisha said to us.

"Yeah like seriously, have some respect for the singles here." Minne said.

"Speak for yourselves." Shuhua said.

"What do you mean? Who are you dating?" Miyeon asked Shuhua.

Shuhua then kissed Soojin on the cheek and Soojin blushed shyly and looked away.

"Wait, when was this?" Yuqi asked surprised.

"We've been together for a month now." Soojin said.

"And you didn't tell us?" Soyeon asked.

"No" Soojin and Shuhua said.

"Why not?" Minnie asked.

"You never asked." Soojin said and shrugged.

"Okay. Who else is a couple?" I asked.

I looked around the room until I saw Mia glancing at someone.

"Mia, who are you looking at?" I asked.

"N-no one" Mia said and immediately became flustered.

"Are you dating someone in this room?" I asked.

Mia looked away from me and didn't answer the question.

"Then let me guess?" I said.

I pretended to think for a moment but I already knew who it was.
