Olivia POV
"I see Rachel," Mia said
"Where," I said
"There," she points. "Next to Brandon whatever his name is," Mia said
I see Rachel talk to Brandon. I don't know, I am I bother. No! I don't even like him, I don't even know him. Then I see Rachel coming to us.
"Heyyyyy what was that," Mia said
"You know that cute guy that I told you guys about," Rachel said
"Yea" Mia and I said at the same time
"That was him, We talk about how annoying our math teacher was" she laughed
"Awww that cute," I said honestly
"Ok you ready," Mia said
"Yea were are we going again," Rachel said
"We are going to get smoothies then go to a park after that to take pictures," I said
"Is Ameilia and Kaylee coming?" Rachel said
"Nope Kaylee is hanging out with her other friend group and Ameilia.., Actually I don't know where she is doing but she not coming," I said
"Wow, did she tell you, Mia," Rachel said
"Nope," Mia said
"She never tells us what she is doing when she not with us," Rachel said
"Well what if she probably has a good reason why," I said
"You are too nice Olivia" Rachel laughed
"I know" I laughed
We walked out to school and go to Smoothie King. We talked about how bad Mia and Rachel are at taking pictures, about Brandon is so cute, I didn't talk about but I think Rachel has a crush on him.
When we enter Smoothie King there is a lot of people. So we had to wait extra long. I had an Orange Ka-BAM, Mia had a Kiwi Island Treat, and Rachel had Cranberry Cooler. When we were leaving I was not looking in front of me when I was walking and I accidentally bump into Brandon again? But this time I spilled the drink all over Brandon. Why me!!! Everyone is looking at me. I don't like the center of attention.
"I am soooo sorry," I said
"You just like bumping to me don't you," Brandon says with a smile. I like the way he smiles.
"I usually don't bump into people trust me," I said with a little smile.
"I will get napkins," someone said
"Again, I am so sorry, I will help you clean this up," I said
"You don't have to if you don't want to," he said
"Well this is my fault so I want to," I said
"Here," an employee said
"Thank you" I replied
Brandon and I cleaned the floor. It took about 30 minutes. "Sorry about your shirt," I said
"Stop saying sorry it ok, I have plenty of shirts the same color at home," He said while I looked at his black shirt.
"Ok," I said.
"I can repay for your drink," He said
"No, it okay," I said. I really wanted to buy a new drink but I didn't have enough money on me and I didn't want to say yes to Brandon because that was just rude.
"I insist," Brandon said
"It ok really, I was about to go to the park with my friends anyways," I said
"if you say so," he said while he walks away
I go to where my friends are. They are smiling really big for some reason.
"Ok you guys ready," I said
"What happen tells us everything," Mia said
"Nothing happened, I just helped him clean up the mess that all nothing else," I said
"But he was so nice he never nice to people," Rachel said
"Wasn't he nice to you when you guys talked?" I said to Rachel
"He was rude when we talked," she said
"Oh" I wonder why he was nice to me. I saw so many movies where someone bumps into someone when they had a drink and it spills all over the other person and the person was rude to them. But that was in movies this is real life.
"Let go," I said
I look around and try to see where Brandon was but I think he left.
Once we we're at the park I grabbed my camera from my backpack and we took pictures. The pictures that I took of my friend were really good but not amazing yet still need more practice. But the ones that they took of me were ok but they are getting better.
"I will send them to you guys tonight so you guys can edit them the way you want to," I said
"ok," Mia and Rachel said at the same time.
We walked home. Mia and my house are close to each other. We walked the Rachel house then we walked to Mia house then I walked to my house
When I reached my house I see in the driveway that my mom's car is parked which means that my mom is home. Which also means I'm going to hear a lecture from her, don't know about the topic yet but I know it about something.
"Hello mom," I said once I open the door
"Hello," My mom said
I waited. Nothing still. Ok, maybe she not going to say anything.
"Oh and Olivia," she says, there it is
"yes," I said
"I just wanted to tell you how was your first day of school," she said. Ok, so no lecture
"Good I accidentally bump into a guy two times today, the first time nothing was in my hand, the second time I had a smoothie in my hand and it spilled all over him," I said. Her face was shocked after I said that. Then I realize what I said. It like I can't say the word boy or guy or him.
"Guy!!" she said. Here we go again.
"It nothing mom I am probably not going to see him again anyway," I said. Her face is still shocked
"Probably," she with her high voice
"Never I meant" I lied. He's in my English class but I can't tell her about that because she going to freak out.
"Ok remember what you dad and I says, don't date until after college," she said
"Yea I know, Can I go now I have to download the pictures on my phone," I said while shaking the camera that I had in my hand
"Yea," she says
Then I leave to download the picture but before that, I check my phone and go on Instagram and TikTok to forget what happened today.
