Chapter 24 : Lost

"Jazz? Okay ka lang ba? Namumula ka ata" Paolene asked worriedly to me as she check my temperature. Iniwas ko naman ang ulo ko.

"O-Okay lang ako. Wala ito" I replied to her as I was returning my sight to them. Ngayon ko lang napansing kasama niya rin pala si Lei na nasa katabi niya lang pala.

"Hello guys, kamusta?" Lei asked to asked. Paolene replied to her.

"Okay naman. Halos hindi ako makatulog sa excitement"

"How about you Jazz?" Tanong naman niya sa akin at natagalan ako bago maka sagot. Sa totoo lang hindi rin ako nakatulog ng maayos kagabi. Ang totoo niyan I didn't felt excitement. Kasi kada pipikit ako, si Yuan ang nakikita ko for no reason. Sounds weird right?

Punyemas..

Nakaka panibago kasi. Ilang buwan kaming magkaaway at di ko aakalaing magkakasundo pa kami. He treated me kindly unlike before, he bullied me. Na we-weirdohan lang ako sa pagtrato niya sa akin. Parang mas gusto ko pa yung dating siya. I mean dating kami. No feelings like this I felt to him and just arguing each other.

"Jazz?" I woke up in reality when I realized they're waking me up from my deep thoughts.

"Jazz, okay ka lang ba talaga?" Paolene asked and we heard some big cars honking their horns. Napukaw ang attention namin doon at ilang bus ang tumigil sa harapan ng school namin.

"Bus number one! Please form your line students! Pumila kayo kung saang bus kayo naka assign!" Sabi ng ilang teachers. Nilingon ko si Paolene.

"Okay lang ako. Itutulog ko na lang ito, hindi kasi ako naka tulog ng maayos. Tara?" We lead to bus number one at sumakay sa loob. Ang buong section one ay naka assign sa bus number. At ang section two ay naka assign sa bus number two and so on.

Paolene and I sat in row three on the left side where the window was to my right. I sat next to the window. I took my neck pillow and plugged my earphones into my ears while I hugged my stuffed toy. I grabbed my phone and connected it in my earphones using Bluetooth and I played a song.

"*Yawn!* S-Sige.. tutulog na ako" hinihikab at inaantok kong sabi sa kanya habang isinandal ko ang ulo ko sa bintana.

"Sige, good night" she said.

"Good night" I said as I yawn. Unti unting sumasara ang paningin ko. Dinalaw rin ako ng antok at nakatulog ng mabilisan.

I woke up to the intense heat emanating from the sunlight. I got up and looked out the window. The bus stopped and we were at Caltex. Many students go to a Mini Mart.

"Sasama ka ba Jazz?" Tanong nang aking katabi na si Paolene inaayos ang gamit. "Oras na ng lunch. Baka nagugutom ka?" She asked and I nodded.

"Sige.."

We got off the bus and went to the Mini Mart. We ate together as a group at a table. Sam and Dylan ordered Dairy Queen Oreo Cookie Blizzards, at Burritos.

"Mmm.. ang sarap tamang tama mainit ang panahon" Lei reacted while eating her food. Kanina pa kami rito nag kwe-kwentuhan but I never spoke. I'm just sitting here and eating my food at halos mangalahati ko na ang aking blizzard. Focus muna sa pagkain hehe.

"Malapit na ba tayo?" I asked for the first time to them. Sinilip naman ni Ethan ang phone niya.

"Oo malapit na. Nasa Batangas na tayo. Ilang kilometro na lang nasa MANABU CampSite na tayo"
