We walked back into the hotel. We stopped at McDonald's on the way back. We walked to the bar. Liam sat next to me with Fallon the other side.

"Dani, do you still need a place to stay?" Sam asked. I looked at Fallon and Liam.

"Nope. I've got a place." I said.

"Where?" Sam asked.

"With us." Liam said. I sat eating my food.

"Lamento haber dejado que te arrestaran y que no te visité." Sam said to me.

"Está bien." I said popping a fry in my mouth.

"Dani, you know you gotta go to school don't you?" Fallon asked.

"What? No? I thought I was done with school." I said.

"School finishes at 18 here not 14 or 15 like in Caracas." Sam said.

"I stopped going when I was ten." I said.

"That explains the English thing." Fallon said.

"Yeah. They don't teach English till about 9." I said.

"Well Spanish is a class you won't have an issue with." Liam said.

"She's good at math too." Sam said. "And which is the body one?"

"Health class or biology?" Kirby asked.

"Biology more anatomy sort of thing." I said.

"What else did Dad teach you?" Sam asked me.

"Things that definitely shouldn't be taught to a kid." I said. "How to rob, how to pick pocket, get cash out of people, how to load a gun—" Fallon cut me off.

"Okay. That's enough. I'm concerned." Fallon said.

"I think that would be considered normal." I said. Will walked in.

"Kid, we gotta talk about stuff." Will said.

"Like what?" I asked.

"Like this. The terms of your release." Will said handing me a stack of papers. I got up and we walked over to a table.

"This is all in English." I said.

"Yeah. It's supposed to be." Will said.

"I can't read English." I said. "It's in my file."

"Look the judge gave me this. So don't shoot the messenger cause that'll get you back behind bars. But the big boy house next time." Will walked off. I walked back to the bar.

"What's all those papers for?" Liam asked.

"Terms of my release and parole. I'm not too sure it's in English so I have no clue." I said.

"Hey Dan, you want a job?" Sam asked.

"Nope. I'm good cause I know what you're gonna ask me." I said.

"Why?" Sam asked.

"36 months not enough for you?" I asked.

"Ugh fine." Sam said.

"It's getting pretty late. I'll see you guys tomorrow." Kirby said leaving.

"We should probably head upstairs too." Liam said.

"Dani, you ready to go upstairs?" Fallon asked.

"Yeah." I said grabbing the papers.

Timeskip

I was asleep on the pullout bed when the door knocked. I stood up to get it as Fallon walked out of her and Liam's room.

"Who's knocking the door this time of night?" Fallon asked as I opened the door to see a woman at the door.
