Tickling noses,
Pinkish cheeks
Glowing like roses
Milky teeth
And shining smiles
Bubbling laughter
Contagious & wild
Chubby little legs
Pumping fast
Not letting anyone
Race me past
Tears that fell
Over every bruise
Kisses & hugs
Smothering my blues
Colourful thoughts
Vibrant and true
Friends; real and not
In every hue
These are the things
I ponder on the cost
The things I wish
