~Thirteen~

A hot summer day

(15th July, 2030)

The Park-Kim family woke up later than usual that day. Probably because no one could sleep properly due to the extreme heat of summer.

"It's so hooooooooooot....." Mingi whined.

"Can we have ice cream for breakfast please?" San asked.

"No sweetie, we're going to eat cereal. Hopefully the cold milk will cool us. Somehow." Y/N sighed before she got the milk from the fridge.

"Wow so cooooool." Yunho said as he stood in front of the fridge.

"I wanna have some cool air too!" Wooyoung said as he stood next to Yunho.

"Me too!" Jongho said before joining his brothers.

The kids started shoving and pushing each other just to get the cool air from the fridge.

"The fridge will work anymore if you continue that." Hongjoong warned.

"OK appa..." The kids returned to their seats.

Y/N set their bowls in front of them and they all started eating their cereal.

"Can we have ice cream later then?" Yeosang asked.

"Of course." Seonghwa said.

Y/N was feeling too hot because of her hair so she decided to tie it up instead.

"Eomma where are you going?" Yunho asked.

"I'm going to tie my hair." Y/N said as she tied her hair into a high ponytail.

She went back downstairs and continued eating her breakfast.

"Eomma can you please tie our hair too?" San asked.

"But I think your hair is too short, Sannie!" Y/N chuckled at her son's cuteness.

"But still! I wanna be pretty like you!"

"Ok, finish your breakfast first."

"Can we please bring that inflatable pool out again?" Mingi asked.

"We'll have to see if we can inflate it." Hongjoong said.

"Okay!"

"Sannie! Didn't you want your hair tied??" Y/N shouted.

"Yes Eomma! I'm coming!!" San ran to his parents' room.

His hair did get pretty long after Yeosang's drone got stuck in it. So Y/N wondered how she could tie it.

"I'm afraid I can't tie it as high as my hair but I'll try to uncover your neck." Y/N said as she started brushing his hair.

"Okay eomma!" San played with Shiber in his lap.

Y/N managed to tie San's hair in a very tiny and cute ponytail.

"Go look in the mirror!" Y/N said before San quickly got off the bed and stood in front of the mirror.

"Perfect! Thanks Eomma! San hugged his mother.

"Your welcome! Aren't you going to change into your swimming trunks?"

"Yup!" San said before he left his parents' room.
