'ow' you mumbled under your breath. you tripped on a shoe while walking to your window. you brushed your knee off and sighed. you looked back at the clock and winced it was too dark in your room to see anything. you looked back at your window and hopped out as quiet as you could. every night since you went to middle school you would sneak out and ride your skateboard it was soothing to you. it made everything bothering you just float away. some days you want to just disappear.

you smiled lightly to yourself. not being able to wait for everything to dissolve you ran to the road and jumped on your board. in a split second all the weight on your back disappeared. the stars were shining bright. the moon was in a slim crescent, yet was still shining as bright as ever. the AirPods you had in were still a bit quiet so you turned them up as loud as you could. your playlist was called "enough.". it had songs that made the tears fall and the problems disintegrate.

As you cruised down the street you reflected on your day, your life, everything. tears started to form in your eyes. you knew you should be happy you had a great life with your family. 'people have it way worse'. as you said that in your head the first tear rolled down. 'NO you shouldnt cry'. as you kept telling yourself to stop more tears began to fall. the facial expression you had on your face stayed bland just with tears rolling down. you closed your eyes and pushed your teeth together.

you had always kept your nails long and sharp you werent sure why ,you just always did. you have always been able to control the length of your nails (not on command) you clenched your fingers and winced your nails were sharper than knifes at that moment, (sort of like killuas ability but just sharper nails...imagine the length of a paper clip when they are fully extended) and they had just pierced through your skin. this made you almost lose balance. you turned a corner without thinking and quickly regretted it.

"GAH"! you heard as you collided with somone. the tears didn't stop. your hand was pouring blood by now. "uh sorr-". the boy sniffled and wiped at his eyes

you made eye contact with the boy. "a-are you.."
more tears began to roll down as you stared at the figure it was too dark to see anything. who was he, what was he doing out this late, was he good at skateboarding.

you were zoned out just staring into space. you still could only see his figure towering above you. slowly the sun started to rise. the pink blue orange and purple filled the sky. there was light. the figure became easier to see. he stuck his hand out offering you help. you hesitated before staring into his eyes. they were.... beautiful. they looked like the ocean.

you were lost staring into his eyes. he streched his hand out farther for you. you open your hand allowing blood to fall. you grabbed his hand not caring about the blood all over yours. the blood smeared over his hand and the boy gripped yours harder. as you stood up you just stood there and stared into his eyes. he had the exact same expression on his face. pure awe.
