beomgyu blinks twice before progressing that she's talking to him. "oh thank you for worrying about me. i'll be more careful next time."

"yeah stay safe. see you around." the boy says before the two walk away.

"who the fuck were they?" beomgyu sighs as he and taehyun walk their way to the library.

"they were soeun and hyunsuk. damn you don't even know your classmates?" taehyun shakes his head disapproving.

they enter the library. beomgyu loves how the quietness embraces him. there are only a handful of students as it's lunch break. they take a seat on the comfortable couch.

"now tell me about how you ended up in yeonjun's house." taehyun speaks in a soft, but clear voice. it's still a library.

tears. they stream down taehyun's cheeks. beomgyu stops talking as he notices his friend crying. he gets concerned, because taehyun doesn't cry that often.

"taehyun? are you okay? did i trigger something?" beomgyu is really confused.

"no," taehyun takes a deep breath "it's just that you were harassed, while i wasn't there for you. what kind of friend am i?"

beomgyu tilts his head in confusion "but taehyun, it isn't your job to keep me safe. why do you feel guilty?"

taehyun suddenly stops crying and flicks beomgyu's head. "what are you saying? you're not only my friend. you're my soulmate, my blood. you're a piece of my heart."

"you're so corny, i'm unfriending you. i really thought you were crying for real." beomgyu scoffs hiding his smile.

"these tears are as real as my feelings choi beomgyu. you never take anything serious." taehyun pushes beomgyu away.

"cancelled!"

"blocked and reported!"

"may i ask you two to leave. you're disturbing the silence here. or do i have to give you detention?" a teacher had came up to them with a disapproving face.

beomgyu and taehyun look at each other and run out of the library laughing.

"i wasn't even done telling my story dramaqueen." beomgyu rolls his eyes.

they stroll through the hallways as beomgyu tells his whole story.

although they just joked it away, taehyun really is feeling guilty. he knows beomgyu is just hiding his emotions away, so he decides to leave it for now.

"-and i haven't talked to him since. on god, i'll dip if i see yeonjun. that shit was embarrassing."

taehyun laughs. "that's gonna be hard as you're in the same school and he's going to tutor you tomorrow."

"luckily he eats his lunch outside in
the field. but tomorrow is going to be so awkward." beomgyu looks down at the floor shaking his head.

"well you better dip, cause it's raining."

"i'm sorry what?!" beomgyu shocked looks at taehyun.

taehyun hints with his eyes to look in front of him. beomgyu follows the direction of his eyes. he sees yeonjun and his friends coming in their direction. thank god he hasn't noticed him yet.

"hey beomgyu, taehyun!" huening kai yells, making yeonjun notice him.

damn it hyuka, still as loud as ever. beomgyu thinks as he waves back.

"i knew you wouldn't dip, you're a pussy." taehyun says sassy, making beomgyu roll his eyes.

the group catches on to the two.

"huening kai can you stop hanging with your junior squad and start hanging out with your realest friends?!" taehyun crosses his arms.

"taehyun i'm oblivious only hanging with them because i'm in love, dumbass." huening kai shakes his head.

taehyun pretends to throw up "with whomst."

huening kai points his thumb to the person next to him "soobin. isn't he everything you can wish for?"

"he's fine alright, but is he really worth it?" taehyun checks the guy out from head to toe.

beomgyu can't help, but laugh at the bold statement taehyun made.

"i'm right here?? literally the disrespect of these kids." soobin huffs.

taehyun waves him off "where are y'all heading?"

"the cafeteria, wanna come?" yeonjun offers joining the conversation.

"no!" beomgyu accidentally yells "i mean no thank you, we're not hungry."

"we're not?" taehyun asks gaining a slap in return. "ouch-"

"well we'll get going then." yeonjun shrugs.

"oh wait before you go, beomgyu just wanted to say he had a great time at your place this weekend." taehyun teases before beomgyu drags him away in panic.

"taehyun can you not?!?"

"ha, i mean did i lie? you did had a great time." taehyun laughs.

"are you the devil?!"

"i aspire to be."

beomgyu sighs "make friends they said."
