𝙽𝙾𝚅𝙴𝙼𝙱𝙴𝚁 𝟸, 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟿
YESTERDAY SKYLAR WAS WITH charlie and madison as they had their first practice of the perfect harmony dance. the practiced the dance for a good amount of time, skylar even learned it. kenny had instructed for madison to practice with another dancer for the weekend. and for charlie to practice with his acting coach
the two were at an empty ice rank, it was just the two of them. seeing as it was cold in vancouver, skylar had on a cropped hoodie paired with her leggings, and nike air forces
"you should've worn a longer hoodie, you're gonna get cold" charlie pointed to the girl as he walked over to his phone that was connected to the speaker
she shook her head "no it's okay" she chuckles softly as charlie plays the song skylar recorded with the music producer. he ran back to his spot as skylar awaited right in front of him
"step into my world bittersweet love story about a girl" the mans voice surrounded the two as the stood in front of each other
shook me to the core voice like an angel, i've never heard before" the two places their hands in front of them as they pretended their hands couldn't touch
skylar took a deep breath before connecting their hands "here in front of me" they lifted their hands above themselves as skylar dipped back before coming right back up. her right hand was held up, as charlie connected is right hand with hers, he brought her in front of him
"they're shining so much brighter than i have ever seen" charlie wrapped him hands around skylar's waist as he picked her up and spun them around before placing her feet back on the ground
"life can be so mean" skylar sung along with her voice that echoed the ice rank. their right hands intertwined as the move it side to side as charlie lead her into a spin around him
"but when he goes, i know he doesn't leave" skylar sung as her body was leaned on charlie's body as he titled them, their eyes connected as they smiled at each other before he dipped her
"the truth is finally breaking through" the two took a few steps back from each other, charlie going on the floor as he did his own little dance
he kneeled in front of skylar, hands in front of her as she placed hers on his. she did mini twirls with her legs as their hands were intertwined "two worlds collide when i'm with you"
"our voices rise and soar so high" on the last twirl he brought her towards him, still kneeling he wrapped his hands around the back of her thighs and lifted her up
"we come to life when we're" skylar was singing her little heart out as charlie spun them around. his eyes never leaving hers
charlie was slowly placing her on the ground, his hands roaming on the back on her thighs to her bum. her heart strings tugging, butterflies flying around in her stomach. their eyes connected, faces just inches away as they sang "in perfect harmony" the two noticed how each of their eyes flicked down to their lips. charlie's hands still around her waist, eyes locked into each other
it was like time had stopped, the song played in the back ground. her fathers words came to her mind
"i want you to promise me something. if you love someone, you tell them. even if you're scared that it's not the right thing"
"you say it. you say it loud. and go from there"
then charlie's words "i never knew a love so real"
"we say we're friends we play pretend you're more to me we create a perfect harmony" skylars voice played in the background
"i'm done playing pretend" she shook her head as she wrapped her hands around charlie's neck and pulled him closer, connecting their lips. charlie didn't hesitate in kissing back
