TODAY CHARLIE AND SKYLAR were in the rehearsal room. charlie wanted to go over his view of luke's character, along with running his line with her help.
"hey" she greets as he enters the room
"hey sunshine" he smirks as he hugs her
"sunshine?" she tilts her head in confusion
"yeah, you're literally a little ball of sunshine, you bright up our lives with your presence and your angelic voice" he winks
she chuckles as she shakes her head "come on, let's get started"
"i'm serious" he chuckled "you're a star, people just don't know it yet"
"you mean just like you?" she says. charlie giving her a confused look "char, you're gonna be a huge star once this project comes out. your voice is captivating, which is why you'll capture all of the girls hearts" she winked
"so there's a chance for me to capture yours?" he asks with a smirk
skylar chuckles softly as she looks to the ground before looking up at him. "we'll see"

"finally" kenny said as he enters the room to see the two acting out a scene "i've been looking everywhere for you two"
"clearly not everywhere" skylar teases
"shush" kenny chuckles softly
"you need us?" charlie asks him as he comes to stand next to skylar
"yes! i have some exciting news for you two" kenny starts
"what's up?" skylar asks
"so, as you know in episode 7, julie and luke have a little moment together" kenny says as the two nod "well, sky i asked you to be apart of this not only to be charlie's acting coach and my assistant but also because i wanted you to write a song with charlie for episode 7"
"are you serious? we get to write a song?" charlie asks immediately
"yes, you'll just have to run it through me, if i agree to it then we'll run it through netflix" kenny says
"oh my gosh" skylar chuckles

as they finished going over charlie's scenes, charlie suggested they go back to his apartment that he shares with owen to start brainstorming
"oh hey sky" owen greets as she enters the apartment
"hey owen" she smiles
"dude! kenny told us we could write a song for the show" charlie says in excitement
"no way!" owen shares the same excitement "wait, but you won't get to sing it" he tells skylar
"i don't mind, as long as a song that i helped write is featured, i'm over the moon" skylar says with a smile
"maybe you two could record it and release it when the shows out?" owen suggested
"i agree" charlie says
"i don't know, anyways come on let's get to brainstorming" skylar playfully pushes charlie who places his hand over her shoulder and leads her to his room
skylar took a seat on his bed, while charlie sat in his desk with his guitar in his hand
"okay so i have an idea but i don't know if you'll like it" skylar starts
"shoot" charlie says
"okay, since julie joins the band already by episode 7 i was thinking the song could be about how they both realize, how beautiful their voices sound whenever they sing together, like if it was meant to be like a perfect harmony" skylar explains
