Chapter two: The secret

After the 'Astrid' incident, I was more than determined to break up with her, besides probably she wouldn't even get mad- wait, she  would definitely get mad. But there was something I had to do first, Merida told me Jack was asking for me so I went to go find him.

After 10 minutes I met him at the cafeteria.

"Sup Hic" he said "you've been here this whole time?" I asked him "yep, why?"

"Why? I've been looking for you ten minutes ago because Merida told me you wanted to talk to me" I said defensively

"ooh yes! Now I remember. So Merida huh"

"just tell me what do you want"

"all right, do you want to go out with me?" Jack said smirking

"Huh, I'm flattered but I'm pretty sure I'm straight " i said laughing "don't you have a girlfriend?"

"Dork." He said "Rapunzel is going to have a girl's night with our dear fire hair friend" he said dramatically and smirked when he described Merida "so I don't have nothing to do tonight, and I supposed that neither do you"

"Hey, that's mean" I said hitting his shoulder "but you're right, my agenda is always empty. I'll be in your house at 6pm after I-"

"After you finished watching another doctor who episode. As I said: dork" jack interrupted me, we always do that, he's mean to me and I'm mean at him, that's how our friendship is based on.

The school was over and I walk to my house. When I arrived I watched my phone and I had three texts. The first was from my dad: 'Hiccup I'll be out of the city to do business stuff. There's money in the kitchen. Don't make parties. I'll be there in a week. Don't open to strangers. Love, dad.' Ugh so that's means I'll have to go out to buy food, I hate human interaction. The second was from Jack 'Hiccup better come at 4pm I'm bored' I replied 'are you in the mood for a boy's night?' 'Gosh, obviously bring cute pijamas' and the third was from -ugh whyy?- Astrid but I didn't read it.

At 4pm I was in Jack's house and he was home alone too we made popcorn and started watch Percy Jackson and the Olympians

"That movie is so awful" I said

"Let me guess. It isn't like the book" he said pausing the movie

"Yes! First place: they're supposed to be 12 years old not 16; second: Annabeth's hair-"

"Ugh stop it. Let's watch another thing I can stand you when you're acting like a diva fangirl" he said as he got a phone call "oh look! It's punz" he said and answered "hi punz" "hi!! I was just calling to know if you're doing okay" Rapunzel's voice heard "yeah I'm fine, I'm having a Boy's night actually. What about yours?" He said. He wasn't an idiot when he was talking to Punzie "we're cool, Merida is in the bathroom so I had a little time to call y- AHHHH- OH MY GOD MERIDA ARE YOU OKAY?" Merida screamed. I never heard her scream, it surprised me and I told jack to speak "w-what's wrong? Is everything all right?" He said worried "uhh I think we better talk later.. I- 'I'm so sorry'- merida's voice said crying- 'I should have told you, I was afraid' i- don't know what to say. I'll keep your secret" Punzie said as she hang up

"Woah, what was that?" I said "that's so weird, did you hear the thing about the 'secret'?"

"Yeah, Merida sounded so worried- I wonder..." He said thinking

"What?.." I asked

"I shouldn't call her right? I'll text her" he said ignoring me and grabbed his phone again.

He stopped texting after 30 minutes and he told me Punzie said that Merida just saw a cockroach and panicked but we obviously didn't believe that...
