Chapter-3

That was strange....

I keep my head down for the whole day. My mind keeps wandering off to the incident in the dark room. Questions like,

Who was the guy?

How did he heal me just by touching my bruises?

Is he a good or bad guy?

Can I talk to Seo Hyun about this?

I was still thinking about this during our break that I did not notice Seo Hyun talking to me.

"Hello?! Earth to Si-Rin?"

I snapped out of my thoughts to see him waving his fork at me. "What are you thinking so seriously about? You hardly touched your food. Eat up fast. We don't have a lot of time left for the break to get over." I open my mouth to tell something when I saw Tae Youn coming towards our table. She was shooting daggers at me as she came towards our table.

"Oppa...where have you been? I have been searching the whole college for you. Come on. I have something to tell you," she says with an annoyingly sweet voice. How I wish I could slap her! But that would end up in me getting more beatings. I just look down at my food and pretend as if I am invisible. "Not now Tae Youn... can't you see I am busy with my food and friend? And don't 'oppa' me. I am not your 'Oppa'," he says in an annoyed tone. He always gets annoyed whenever Tae Youn is around.

She takes one look at me and says, "Seo Hyun-ah what are you doing with this slut? Do you even know where she works? She works in a pub. I wouldn't even go to such unholy places." That is right. She knows where I work. "That does not have to bother you Tae Youn. And just how did you know she works in a pub? Because you've been there as well. If you don't know a person completely, then you better shut that filthy mouth of yours. Si-Rin, come on let's go." I followed him without meeting anyone's eyes. I really wanted to get a peak of Tae Youn's face but I just looked down and went in the same direction as Seo Hyun.

"Why don't you open your mouth and say anything when she insults you?" Seo Hyun asked after we were a fair distance from the cafeteria. I replied, "Well, what she said is true... I do work in a pub and yes it is filt --" Seo Hyun cut me off by telling "That does not make the fact of you being slut true, okay? Don't ever stand so defenselessly against people like her. You never used to be this way. Seriously, I'll never understand what got into you," Seo Hyun said. "You also need to understand that there were a few incidents in my life before this change in my attitude," I replied. Seo- Hyun stopped, turned towards me and said, "Listen, I know that the passing of your parents has caused a lot of pain to you. But...just don't stand doing nothing if someone is hurting your integrity or dignity. Got it?"

"Okay, I'll not just stand there. Can I sing as response?"

"Aish- this girl never changes... just how are you going to answer them with songs?"

"Well, I can be Pretty Savage with songs." He laughs at that and we continue walking down to our chording session when I get a message on my phone which made me stop me in my tracks.

'Congratulations A.R.M.Y!!! You have been chosen as a lucky contest winner to meet BTS in real!! Be ready on Saturday at 5 pm, outside the BigHit entertainment company. BTS will be waiting for you!! '

What?! Me ?! Meeting BTS?! No way this has gotta be a spam message. I double check the message and yes! It is legit!! I squeal and break into a dance right there on the corridor. "What is wrong with you now? Just a while ago, you were so shy....what happened?" I wave my phone in front of his face and I continue dancing, not caring about what people thought of me.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! What about me? And what contest? Seriously, stop dancing and answer my questions..."

"I don't care! The message is legit and I double-checked. Of course I'll take you along," and I continue dancing. Seo Hyun just smiles at me and continues walking to the classroom while I follow him behind, still dancing. I mean how many people have to be lucky to meet BTS? I sure was lucky.

*On the other side of Seoul*

"Has she seen the message yet?" Namjoon asked impatiently. "Come on Namjoon. We have better work to do." Min Yoongi said impatiently. "Do you think she'll buy it though? What if she thinks it is a spam message," asked Jungkook. "Oh, she'll buy it, alright? My phone is getting spammed with a hundred calls from Mr. Bang. He says he wants to see us urgently." Yoongi said.

"Ok then. Let's get going. She will miss this handsome face if she doesn't come," Jin said. The other members facepalmed. "Awww.... come on its not like y'all don't enjoy this handsome face," Jin said. "Hyung, we get it. You sure have a handsome face," Jungkook said. Jin beams at that. And they all exited their dorm to meet Mr.Bang.

In the BigHit building

"Do you all know why you have been called here?" asked Mr. Bang. "Umm... no sir, we don't. Is it something serious about our fans?" asked Taehyung. "Well, its about the fan meeting we will be having on Saturday. We need to discuss a few things about it before it occurs."

"Okay, what is it?" Hoseok asked cheerfully.

"You guys need to perform a song or two before you start," said Mr. Bang.

"Oh, that is no big deal. We just need to practice a little and we'll be done," Namjoon said.

"I knew I could rely on you guys to please your lovely fandom."

"Oh, the pleasure is all ours," they said inunison
