Chapter 31

Mil's P.O.V. 

"hey you, go and check if Phukong is still there, take care of him, is it clear?" I said and the guy nodded and left

"What time is it?" I asked to the driver

"1 am sir" 

"Perfect..." I whispered after I looked outside and noticed that Phukong wasn't coming back. 

I took my phone and looked at Phukong's picture on my phone for a few seconds before calling my boss

"How is our operation going Mil?" mr Guntithanon asked

"They are both going quite well actually... I didn't have any doubts about operation Mars, and you were already aware of it sir" I replied

"You know what Mil? Sometimes I hope that I will get your confidence sooner or later" the boss replied chuckling

"You are the boss sir, you already have whatever you need... I actually hope that our secret operation will work just like Mars... it is way easier to plan a war against a clan... than to help someone that seems to push everyone away" I added

"Yes... you didn't have to remind me that... well, call me when you have news about the situation. Goodnight Mil" 

"Goodnight sir" I replied and hung up. The lights of the police appeared in the distance and the noise of their sirens became intense. 

"We can go now" I said to the driver

"But sir, shouldn't we wait for..." the driver asked confused and worried

"I said that we can go now, hurry up, we have a lot of things to do" I replied annoyed and he started driving. 

Tine's P.O.V.    the following day

I went to Sarawat's table in the cafeteria and sat down in front of him, he immediately looked away

"So I was right, you are still a coward" I started

"If you are trying to help me with my addiction I'm sorry to tell you that this method isn't exactly the best..." he replied, it was obvious that he wanted to sound confident but his voice was so weak that it was more like a whisper than a normal tone

"Do you think that I don't know your feelings about me? Why didn't you tell me?" I added, it was ironic that I called him coward when I was basically doing the same thing

"I don't know what you are talking about ai Tine, I'm just trying to eat..." he replied

I sighed and grabbed his hand, he looked at me with wide eyes

"Ai Wat... am I the cause of your addiction?" I asked with a much calmer voice

"No... you can go now, you don't have to feel guilty" he answered

"Ai Wat..." I said as I noticed that he took his phone

"What..." he replied while looking at his messages

"do you like me?" I asked 

"Why are you asking?" he asked back without looking at me, he was quite focused on his phone

"Because I... I ..." 

"Tine, if you want to tell me something then do it... instead of calling me a coward..." he added

"I like you ai Wat" I replied

"Oh... oh my God..." he added before fainting
