Down the dark road I walked,
Away from the ones
Who were mine;
None cared for they only watched,
As down the road I walked.

Darkness was I surrounded by;
The stars hard to find,
Nothing seen ever was frightening
In this unfamiliar sight.

I walked and walked
Away; towards the unknown,
With troubled worn down feet
Towards the serenity that I seek.

Oh! How the clouds weighed sorrow,
Being ever so close to heaven
Yet they lost their silver linings
And wandered towards the unnamed.

I wish, I hope
We both make it to the end
Out of this sorrow,
Into the life we wish to spend.
