"Please... at least lay down with me," The Alpha pleads, "It's all I'm asking for. I just want my mate to rest."

Dongju snorts, "I'm not your mate," he mumbles, sighing in defeat before crawling under the fur blanket and cuddling next to Leedo, "I'm only doing this so you will rest some more as well."

Leedo chuckles in triumph, wrapping the furs around Dongju before he himself lays down beside his Beta. Sure enough, as soon as Dongju's head places itself on the pillow his eyes fall shut. Soft snores eventually escape his pretty lips that were parted ever so slightly. Leedo studies the Beta's face as he slept, brushing a finger gently on his soft cheekbones.

His hair was slightly oily, Leedo imagines he never bathed either while he was waiting by his side for him to wake up. The Alpha shakes his head, leaning forward to press a gentle kiss on the tip of Dongju's nose, watching as the Beta wrinkles it slightly in his sleep before his features relax back to normal. Leedo chuckles, he too feeling exhausted just from the short amount of time being awake and moving his body, and not hesitating to wrap the Beta in his strong arms and fall back asleep.

When he awoke sometime later, it was to Dongju sneezing quietly to not disturb Leedo. The Alpha looks down to see some color brought back to Dongju's cheeks, his nose was red and eyes were puffy as he sniffles noisily. Leedo feared he was coming down with a cold.

"I think it's just a head cold," Dongju mumbles, moaning in slight pain as he rubs his temples, "Maybe some slight sinus congestion. My head is pounding and I've noticed the last few days I've had allergy symptoms."

"Let's go see if we can find Keonhee," Leedo suggests, worried now for his Beta.

"No, you need to rest-"

"I've rested plenty, now it's my turn to take care of you," Leedo said sternly, narrowing his eyes at the younger, "That's what we do. We take care of one another."

Dongju sighs dramatically, "Fine. But only because I tried to sit up and my head spun and pounded some more. I think I may just stay in bed all day."

"That's fine," Leedo whispers, sitting up slowly after he tucks the furs around his Beta, "Get some rest. I'll send in Keonhee to give you something to help with the sinus congestion and headache."

Dongju nods, closing his eyes again as he whispers, "Thank you."

A small, shy smile formed on Leedo's face as he took his time standing. It took some effort, and his body wasn't wanting to cooperate with the painful throbbing he felt from the area where he was bitten by the snake. With some help from the wall, and a nearby walking stick close to the door, he hobbles his way out the door and shuts it quietly.

The sun was blinding at first, and he couldn't help but squint to look around for his other pack members. Off in the distance, he caught sight of Hwanwoong and Youngjo skimming different animals and getting their meats ready for storage. Keonhee was off in the gardens, busy in his own little world.

Leedo sighs happily, this was his home. This was where he wanted to be and where he would want to be for the rest of his life. He was so happy that Youngjo accepted him back into his pack, and forgiven him for everything that has happened.

Keonhee was working quietly, that is until he looks up and sees Leedo leaning against the side of his hut and gasps, "Leedo!" He calls out, dropping his basket of herbs and pickings before rushing over to the Alpha. Keonhee stops short in front of the Alpha, looking him over for any possible injuries he obtained while resting, "How are you feeling? Why are you out of bed? You need to be resting-"

"Oh please not you too," Leedo chuckles, "Seriously Keonhee, I'm okay. I just needed to get out and stretch my legs," Leedo smiles.

"Why didn't Dongju help? He just let you get up on your own?" Keonhee shakes his head, ready to rush in and scold the young Beta but Leedo stops him.

"I left him in there to rest. He hasn't eaten, bathed, or slept since I have been unconscious. And now he's sick, I think he may be getting a sinus infection. He's complaining of headaches, he's sneezing and his nose is stuffed up with gunk. Is there anything you can make for him?" Leedo asks, worry filling him about the well being of his Beta.

Keonhee hums, frowning slightly, "I can possibly see about making him a tea. That should help with the sinus congestion, and as for the headache it's probably caused by all sorts of things: the stress, not eating, not sleeping, the sinus pressure perhaps. The tea should help, if it doesn't help the headaches I may have to make him some peppermint oil and have you rub his temples with it."

Leedo nods, "Perfect, please take care of him."

"Of course," Keonhee smiles, looking over Leedo's shoulder and his smile drops when he caught sight of something, "Seoho?"

Leedo frowns, turning to face the being with the unfamiliar name. Suddenly, the world seemed to stop spinning as he locks eyes with the Omega. Seoho seemed to freeze as well, the two sharing a dark, and painful memory.

It was no doubt that these two knew one another.

The screams, the visions of blood covering him and the ground below him suddenly plagued his mind. Leedo felt his chest getting tighter as the realization hits Seoho's face, and soon rage completely takes over.

Seoho's eyes flash gold, and his lips curl up in a nasty snarl as he bares his teeth threateningly, "YOU!!" He growls loudly, his body trembling with the rage bubbling over.

"Seoho?" Keonhee frowns, stepping closer to Leedo, "Are you-"

He didn't even get to finish his sentence before the Omega is charging straight after Leedo.
