Feeling alive again *Julie and the phantoms, Luke*

chapter three

As we stood in front of a confused crowd i began to feel very scared how could swe explain what just happened "it was holograms" i said shakily as Julie quickly nodded in agreement "yeah i set it up before the assembly" julie quickly answered. it seemed to workas people were buying it as they walked away, i saw the music teacher walk over to Julie and quickly left so they could talk. i ran over to the boys and quickly hugged Luke, it felt nice to be in his embrace its weird, as we pulled apart we stared into each others eyes for a couple of seconds but it felt so much longer, we snapped out of it as i felt the heat find its way onto my cheeks "that felt so good and they could actually see us play i haven't felt a connection like that in years" he says with excitement, i quickly nodded in agreement "touch me touch me" reggie said with excitement as i stood by him and tapped him on the shoulder "woah" alex said in amazement before i went over and touch him "so i can touch ghosts... weird" i said softly. Julie came over but she looked really sad "hey did you not get into the music programme" i said with a sympathetic smile "no i did but i lied to Flynn about the band and she saw right through me" she said gloomily i looked at her with a sad face "oh i'm sorry" i said with sympathy as she just shrugged

later that day Julie and I were talking until we found Flynn hiding outside her house, "i'm gonna go hang with the guys i think" i said as i quickly turned amd headed straight for the studio. as i opened the door i saw the three guys crowded by the grand piano "sup" i greeted as i walked towards them "hi maddie, look at this killer melody we made out of Julies poems" Luke said as i walked between him and Alex placing my elbow on his shoulder and leaning against him slightly "this is really good" i said looking at him, as he smiled at me "are you gonna play this with Julie?" I asked him with a smile "yeah and you hopefully" he said smiling "dude you don't need me ?" i said half jokingly, ho looked almost offended "yes we do, you'd be great guitarist and back up singer" he stated as i felt a blush form along with a big grin, before being interupted by Julie walking in "were going to do that song for flynn and she'll be here in a second" she blurted at us, as we looked at each other confused yet excited.

There was a knock at the door as Julie greeted Flynn from outside, when she walked in she saw me and looked shocked "your crazy too!" she stated as she pointed at me "who isn't these days" i answered shrugging as i grabbed my guitar from its stand and plugged it in. Julie grabbed a chair and pushed Flynn into it as she let out a groan. onced finished explaining that there was no way they could be holograms she walked over to her piano and looked at me and nodded which i returned, she began playing and singing as i waited for the chorus so me and the guys could jump in. it finally got to the chorus as i started playing my guitar with passion smiling as Flynn yelped, as i got more into the song i began singing and dancing with Luke across the stage, as we reach a music only part of the song Flynn places her hand through reggie "what.. they're ghosts" she exclaims "weird right" reggie answers, Flynn points to me who is leaning my elbow on luke shoulder "why doesn't she go through them is she a ghost?" she questions causing me to snigger "no i'm alive, i can just touch them for some reason" i answer with a smile "maddie, julie does this mean you're joining our band" Luke asks with a desperate smile. "i think you just joined their band" Flynn says with sas "what she said" we reply in sync causing us to laugh, the drums started to kick in as i began playing the guitar and singing with everyone

my life would be real low zero...

the song came to an end "still wanna talk to my dad" Julies asks softly "nah i'm good" Flynn answers causing them to let out a small giggle before hugging
