In this town, things are different.
We have humans. And demons.
Why are they here? Well. In the year 3001,, two young teens had a mission. To open the gates of hell. But things,, backfired when they could not close the gate they had opened. The demons ran out, and escaped hell, making their way into the small town of Waterbanks.
The humans get the best in everything, leaving hell on earth for the demons.
Although the demons already have high status, the species is completely mistreated. Horns, and wings could be cut off and sold. They could be killed in cold blood. Or abandoned by their captors.
These are just some everyday struggles.
Nothing was done about this mistreatment, the subject was completely ignored for that matter. Demons lived like the humans! In- a way..-?
The problem that occurred regularly was slaughtering these creatures, they were new, shiny and rather different. Everyone wanted in on it.
Some humans were scared they could hurt their children, pets, or family, so decided to take action on this. But demons knew they would never hurt them. Even if one were to press charges, the suspect never went to the lockup, and the trial was never held. The humans didn't even bother with anything of this.
The demons were rather soft, in actuality. Nothing the town made them out to be, and in this world,, there was a great misconception about them.
The year is 3029. And things have changed since 3001.
Soon, time passed. And the demons changed. They became more anxious of humans, and sometimes got violent, running underground businesses trying to make a way to fight back. Welp.. We'll see how that goes.. No demon was safe.
Victims were left scarred, and sometimes even resorted to things that not even I want to say.
They did this just to get away from the memories and pains of the world.
I'm- Yudai. Yudai Aoki. And well, I'm.. A demon.
