HS Child Chaos Chapter 2

-narrator's perspective-
Henry looked behind him and said to the others
"Go! Scatter and find something to locate the airship!"
Dave, Geoffrey and Thomas followed suit and left the room to scatter. Sarra had an idea. While Henry was still looking at the doorway, she threw a strange-looking pen on the floor. It rolled between Henry's legs and stopped near the computer desk.
"You moved, you asked for it." Henry looked back at her. He pulled the trigger and out came a blast of blue light, which hit Sarra and she just.. sort of disappeared. Henry locked the door in the room and walked to the computer desk, where he was going to find a location device—
"Ahh!"
Henry slipped on the pen, unknowingly activating it. It shined blue then changed to red as it blasted a continuous red jet of light towards Henry. He wasn't sure what was happening.. He couldn't move yet.. It just felt so strange..

-meanwhile-
"There's something here.. hopefully it's a tracking or location device!" Said Dave as he went into a room with Geoffrey. Geoffrey found a glowing piece of paper with North, South, East and West marks on it but no islands or markings. He picked it up and examined it, ignoring the blaring alarms nearby. They took down all the employees in this small place so they didn't really worry about other people for now.
"This might be some sort of map. But certainly not any normal map!"
"Let's bring to Henry! We-we can show him and get out of here. We got what we wanted." Said Dave happily. He wasn't very good at heists so he was relieved that they were leaving.

They jogged to the room they last saw Henry and opened the door. But they didn't see Henry.. They saw a child around 8 years old wearing his clothes.
"What-where's-where's Henry?" Asked Dave.
"This.. this is Henry, Dave.." Said Geoffrey.
"Hi. Who're you? Where am I?" Asked Henry. His voice was quite adorable, but they weren't used to an innocent Henry that talks (Henry normally uses sign language). Geoffrey was speechless.
Dave just walked up to him and told him,
"I'm Dave. That guy is Geoffrey. Do you remember anything that happened today?"
"Umm.. I snuck out of bed to get some candy..?"
"He doesn't remember the heist? Or us?" Whispered Geoffrey.
Thomas came running into the room with a small circular object in his hand.
"Hey boss! I found something— Whaaa? Who are you?" He asked the child when he saw him. Henry was surprised and accidentally pressed a button on the keyboard as he slipped..

-outside-
Bright light surrounded the corpses of Reginald and his Right Hand Man. Suddenly, their bodies teleported from under the pod (where they died) to an upright position near it as they slowly woke up.
".. What.. I thought.. I thought we died.." Said RHM.
".. I.. I told you that wasn't the airship! You said it was in my imagination—"
"Well, what matters now is that we're alive. But we've been left behind."

-back inside-
"I'm Henry Stickmin. Don't make fun of my last name okay?" Henry answered after he got back up.
"Calm down Thomas, it's just Henry. Geoffrey and I found him and.. Apparently he turned into a kid—"
"We need to get out of here quick! Chit-chat later, CCC reinforcements are on the way! I saw them in weird vehicles!" Said Thomas quickly.
Dave carried Henry and ran with the others to the exit. It was dark out but they didn't have anywhere to sleep..
"Oi! Where d'you think you're goin'?!" Said RHM, charging up his robotic arm to shoot them as they approached.
"Hi. Who are you? Why do you have a robotic arm?" Said Henry.
"How are you alive?" Asked Thomas, having spotted their dead bodies under the ship earlier.
"I honestly have no idea. Now.. My question is who are you?" Questioned Reginald, squinting at Henry.
"I'm Henry Stickmin." He answered timidly.
"Wait.. Henry pressed a button and a light shone through the window.. So you guys were revived by that?" Pondered Thomas.
"I guess so, but are you telling me Henry as a kid revived us?!" Asked Reginald.
"Yeah.."
RHM stopped charging up his arm and lowered it down. "We're alive because of you.. I suppose we could have truce for now. But only until Reginald and I find the airship again." Everyone nodded their agreement and went back inside the pod where they tried to get some sleep. Little Henry was still so confused what was going on, where he was and why his parents aren't hunting him down yet. But he knew he was in good hands. He snuggled in Dave's laps and fell into a deep sleep.
