The Girl

Somewhere beyond the flossy clouds and the dark woods,
A little girl lost her soul,
she sings a song hoping one day shell find it.
Somewhere beyond the great waters of the sea,
There is a boy seeking to help this soul find its home,
A little girl who used to sing his happiness,

now sings his sorrow.
The crows linger around her house
Waiting for her to walk out and drop dead
So they may feast on her pure, faithful heart.
Which once brought joy and happiness,
But now only sheds tears from loneliness

Her heart becomes blacker and blacker at each break of dawn,
and as the sun sets and the moon rises,
She becomes a year older,
And a day more with no soul; waiting for him to return.
