-Twenty Two- Training

Tommy just nodded. They ended up calling that a night.

Once they set up clearer rules for these spars, they went a lot better. They were a bit worried about learning to combat each other's styles but no one else's, so they ended up inviting most of the hub.

It ended up becoming a fun event for almost everyone. Techno was barred from participating after he won every match he was in. They made him the referee instead.

Nothing says team bonding like beating each other up, right?

---------

On the complete other side of the spectrum from Tommy, Tubbo found hand to hand combat to come to him easily. It was like a dance, almost.

He could just parry, dodge, and strike. Mixing those three up made for a good combat. It was so easy to get lost in training. Many others were struggling a bit, but Tubbo was quick to learn how to move correctly.

The training he did with Tommy and the training he'd done at the very beginning of his hero career definitely helped. He knew the basics, which had him one up on the Dream Team (as they were recently named.) Tubbo may not have had much achievement to his name, but he had beaten George in many, many spars.

Techno was a much stricter teacher than Phil. He had them up and at the Hub by 5:30 every single morning. They left at 5:30 pm. During those hours, Techno worked them hard.

They did many different drills- everything from lifting weights to practicing over and over on types of punches or flips. Everyone seemed to pick up on it all quickly. Tubbo particularly liked training with Dream. They had about equivalent skill levels when it came to fighting their weapons. Tubbo had gotten a metal staff with a "bee stinger" on the end. It was fun to twirl and to block with.

He wished that Tommy was in class, though. It'd be great to show off to Tommy and actually get to use his weapon. Also, he and Tommy could tag-team Dream and Sapnap or maybe even Skeppy and Bad.

But for now, he was stuck with one on ones.

----------

Skeppy and Bad were great as a team. They got some formal combat training from Techno. On the first day, Skeppy decided to try and prove that they could fight already and challenged Techno to a duel.

It went about as well as you'd expect. The fight ended quickly, Techno pinning Skeppy to the ground within just a few seconds.

"If you want to defeat me, you'll need to train for another 100 years!" Techno laughed. Skeppy had turned bright red, embarrassed. Bad had started to laugh, but a stern look from Techno stopped that.

There wasn't another incident like that. Techno was a much better teacher than the duo thought he would be. He let them partner up fairly often.

Bad disliked Techno, personally. He kept pushing Bad's powers a bit more than Bad usually wanted to go. Techno knew that Bad was strong- something Skeppy wasn't fully privy to.

Bad couldn't remember when he decided to stop showing off his power. Sometime after he met Skeppy. Skeppy's power had been pretty weak back then- Bad felt terrible for the other.

So Bad just pretended to be weaker. He never really needed his power for combat, anyway. It was an easy thing to do, and it seemed to boost Skeppy's confidence a lot.

He had originally planned to pick his power back up later, but that later just never came. He just lived like this. Honestly, sometimes he'd forgotten how his powers worked.

So suddenly being forced to use his powers to their absolute max was a bit strange. Especially when he was in front of the person who he'd stopped using it for.
