She hides in her room
the one in that broken home
Her toes curls, her thoughts swirls
She walks alone, headphones blaring
Trying not to be consumed by the shades of gray
Trying to think that it will always be okay
Alone in her own empty world
Alone in her hopeless dreams
People try to talk to her
Sooth her raging soul
Give her the warmest comfort
Can she realize she isn't alone
Calm the raging wars in her mind
Right there and then she can believe herself
That darkness will turn bright
Like everything's going to be alright.
