"Holy shit... is that him?"

"I-I think so! Should we ask for a photo!?"

"Screw photos! I want a hug!"

"Maybe an autograph?"

"Excuse me!"

Asa looked up at the three teenagers who had rushed over, feigning shock as if he hadn't eavesdropped on their conversation. They all looked a different variation of excitement, holding their phones and one even a notepad pulled from their backpack. "Are you... Asa? Euphoria's brother?" The smallest in height asked, so giddy they began bobbing on their feet, another wriggling their hands.

Asa gulped, shifting on his seat uncomfortably. "I-I sure am... to what do I owe the pleasure?"

The three giggled, "see? He always speaks like that- not just during videos!" He heard them slyly whisper, almost eye-roll worthy to think they were quiet enough for him not to. The park was empty excluding the four of them, he came here to simply do some homework but it appeared he wouldn't be left alone for long.

"Yeah, see, we don't actually care for you much" the tallest explained, sashaying their long hair behind their shoulder. "We want to follow you home to meet Euphoria! We're his biggest fans" they continued, Asa's forebrow creasing in concern. Hastily he began to pack away his belongings, "I'm so sorry but- Euphoria doesn't allow fans to meet him as of yet. I-I mean he hasn't even coordinated a face reveal and-"

"Oh! Whatever" the third one cut him off rudely, "he won't care! We promise not to reveal what he looks like" they giggled almost scarily, setting off the other two who clutched their belongings in an iron clad grip.

Asa finally stood up, "ah, I implore you- this is simply out of hand, I-! Hey!" They grabbed his arm painfully, as he looked up to their faces he gasped in shock, tears welling in his eyes. They were contorting, skin melting and molding, forgetting the original shape. Eyes popping out of the sockets, jaws falling lower and lower as if their bone structure had completely evaporated. They climbed on top of him as his yells became muffled by their wax like skin, horribly burning to the touch but Asa was trapped under their melting bodies, seeping into one giant mess. Air escaped him as he desperately tried to scream, cry for help, clawing and scratching but his hands became further and further stuck, like plunging them inside vats of hot glue.

"ASA!" a yell echoed in his ear, causing him just as loudly to yell back. Springing up in his single bed, eyes searching the room desperately - soon realizing he was at home, safe. The hands of his twin sister wrapped around his forearms. Her face dropped the concern, replaced with worried annoyance.

"It's the third time this week I've had to wake you from... whatever nightmare you had" she stated matter-of-factly. Asa, still calming down from the ordeal didn't digest her jibe at first, simply relaxing against the warm mattress, dragging the quilt up over his shoulders in a comforting manner.

"Are you alright? Do you need-like, therapy or something?" She then suggested, Asa slowly shook his head, breath evening out. "If you need to put the blame on someone, our eldest brother is at your disposal"

Marlene sighed, cocking her eyebrow in a 'really?' expression. "Dumbo, it's not his fault you're dealing with this"

He wanted to retort but bit his tongue, knowing of course his brother wasn't the cause of the horrid scenes plaguing him. He never thought his channel would take off, in fact the fame hasn't caused any catastrophes to the family. Keeping his identity and face hidden, nothing much of their collective lives had changed. He started on YouTube, making a name for himself under the pretence 'Euphoria' to stay anonymous. Taking off quick after producing multiple 'Minecraft' videos and generally entertaining content, plus garnering friends from within the community - it wasn't a surprise he hit twelve million subscribers two years after the fact.
