Avengers, The moment I saw you

Ch. 3 "Natasha time"

                                                                 Dakota POV 

I walked into my room, and on the bookshelf was a red book, I pulled the red book and the bookshelf slid open, 

You see behind my bookshelf is a lab, Tony built it for me just for me so we wouldn't get our stuff mixed up, 

I walk to the table and find the object that I have been working on, it was circular with a glowing red and slight blue, 

It's purpose is to heal all life threatening injuries, I used the same stuff Cap's shield is made of, you see when we were up against Ultron I found a lot of the stuff, I asked Tony to recover some of it for me, 

I came to the crashing reality that one day, something bad could happen to the people I care about, 

So I came up with this, I've been working on it, it's been taking a while, but I think I almost perfected it, hopefully, 

I need to keep concentrating on something else than the obvious, 

Then my mind started to race again, I want to live I know its not until I'm twenty one, but he also told me, 

That as I get older I'm gonna get weaker, the fainting spells with be more frequent, the dizziness will hit me harder, 

The nausea will be ten times worse, 

I let out a sigh, 

I hear someone clear their throat, 

I look to see Nat, 

"Hey," She said 

"Hey," I said as I smiled 

"What's wrong?" She asked 

"What do you mean?" I asked 

"You've been staring at the wall for the past ten minutes," She said 

I shrugged, 

"Just tired I guess, I can't really sleep lately," I said 

"Is something bothering you that is keeping you awake?" She asked 

I shook my head no, 

"No, just can't seem to shut my brain off," I said tapping on my head, 

"How about we go out for a little," Nat said 

"You know Tony doesn't like me leaving," I said 

"You'll be with me, it's fine, " She said grabbing my wrist, 

"Friday, Tell Tony me and Dakota are going to be out for a little bit," Natasha said as she walked 

"Of course ma'am" The AI said 

"Where are we going again?" I asked 

"Tony didn't tell you did he?" Nat said as we left, 

"Tell me what?" I asked 

"He's having a party tonight, welcoming the new Avenger," She said 

"What new avenger?" I asked 

"Oh man he really kept you in the dark on this one," She said 

"Spider Man, he joined the Avengers, his name is Peter Parker, he's around your age, so were going to buy you a new dress," She said 

"Okay, but I shouldn't really go, I'm not an avenger," I said looking away, 

"Of course you are! how many times have you gotten us out of a tough spot by hacking into the enemies system," Nat said 

"And don't get me started how you had to fix Bucky's bionic arm," Nat said 

"Not to mention you had to fix your brothers arc reactor after he got some rubble inside of it," Nat said 

"And do I have to remind you of the magnetic arrow you gave Clint, that is so powerful that it almost took our own weapons out of our hands while it took HYDRA's weapons out of their hands," Nat said 

"Okay," I said 

"So don't even say your not a Avenger," she said 

"Okay, Okay don't have to go all momma bear on me," I mumbled 

"Hey you need a mother like figure in your life, and a cool one like me," She said as she winked 

I just roll my eyes as we walked 

"Alright let's find you a dress," She said as we walked
