"gyu have you seen yourself? you're stunning!" taehyun says shocked.

beomgyu giggles and tries pushing taehyun away with no luck. "oh please."

"i'm serious, i almost fell for you! literally." taehyun walks as if he's about to fall.

they laugh it out while walking through the school gates. they walk up to taehyun's friends. as taehyun is way more social than he is.

"am i seeing this right? choi beomgyu is actually on time?!" ryujin teases while she embraces her friends.

"long time no see cuties." chaerin says not looking up from her phone.

"where's the others?" taehyun asks.

"they're not here yet. only hyuka is here, but he's over there with yeonjun and friends." ryujin nods her head to the direction of a specific picknick table.

taehyun looks over to the picnic table where huening kai is seated. "hyuka is friends with yeonjun?! how is he friends with a junior?" he asks in disbelief.

"y'all didn't know?" chaerin finally looks up from her phone. "when you two disappeared from the earth, there was this big party at yeonjun's house. hyuka and chenle went, so we don't know what went down."

"we didn't disappear. gyu dragged me with him all the way to japan." taehyun rests his head against beomgyu's shoulder.

"y'all didn't care to ask us with you, so therefore y'all are cancelled. let's go ryu." chaerin walks away dragging ryujin with her.

"dramaqueen!" taehyun yells after her. "wanna go hide in the bathroom until the bell rings."

beomgyu nods intensely as he takes one last look at yeonjun.

the first day after the big vacation is always super chill as most of the teachers also don't feel like doing much. the time flies by before the bell rings.

beomgyu stands in the hallway waiting for taehyun. it's not like he doesn't know anyone here, it's just that taehyun is his only real friend.

suddenly someone grabs his hand. it's chenle.

"hey beomgyu. woah you look really cute. come sit with me at lunch." chenle says not waiting for beomgyu to respond.

chenle dragged beomgyu outside to the school field. he sees quite a few students already sitting in the grass or messing around.

beomgyu almost sticks to chenle's arm as they're approaching the group.

"hyuka! look who i found!" chenle yells gaining the attention of not only huening kai but of the whole group.

"h-hi." beomgyu says feeling shy.

"gyu where were you? and where's taehyun? i texted you, but you didn't respond." huening kai looks a little disappointed at his friend for not texting him back.

"sorry i got a new phone with new number, but i'm in the group chat." beomgyu says with a guilty smile.

huening kai gasps "ohmygod you are? wait give me your phone we'll put our numbers in it."
