Dakota POV
I walked down the hallway as fast as I could, I'm so late and he is going to kill me I thought as I ran down the hallway with my books tight to my chest,
As I ran the corner I ran right into someone causing me to fall on my bottom and my books to go flying,
"Dakota, my Odin are you alright?" Thor said
"Yeah, sorry, sorry I'm such a klutz," I said picking up my books as fast as I could,
"It is quite alright," Thor said picking up some of my books and handing them to me,
"What has you so rushed?" Thor said
"Oh! sorry I have to go he's going to kill me," I said running down the hall again,
I finally get to the lab,
Tony was tinkering with his suit,
"Your late," Tony said
"Sorry," I said
"Jordan how many time do I have to tell you if I'm going to be teaching you at least make an effort to be on time," Tony said
"Sorry," I said looking down,
You see Tony is the only one who calls me by my middle name, and he also has been schooling me since, well you know,
"Alright lets get started," Tony said
I nodded,
After the long school session I had an appointment with a doctor in Brooklyn, you see recently I've not been feeling well, passing out, loss of appetite nausea, so Tony said he couldn't make it which was fine, so Happy drove me,
Right now I'm sitting in the waiting room,
"Miss, Stark," The woman said
I stood up as I got all kinds of stares,
After a bunch of tests resulting in ultra sounds and MRI's I was waiting in the room they left me in,
"Miss, Stark," The doctor walked in shocked
"Did you find out why this is happening?" I asked worried
"Yes, we did," The doctor sat down in front of me,
"Mis, Stark, It turns out, that you have a rare condition," He said
"Condition?" I said
He nodded
"Heart Condition to be exact, so it turns out," He said
"What?" I said shocked,
"I'm sorry," He said
I didn't even know what to say, I got back into the car after the Doctor explained everything to me, it was as if I was in shock,
"How did it go?" Happy asked
"Alright, they just said it was stress," I said putting on my best poker face,
"See I told you everything was fine," He said smiling at me,
I smiled back, I had to keep this on low key until I can save myself, I can't put no more pressure on Tony so that's out I'm doing this myself I'm smart enough, I thought
I am a Stark after all, I thought smirking
