Mega basics:
If you don't know what shifting is (also known as reality shifting), I recommend that you do some research on the topic. Here is a good source: https: //www.popbuzz.com/internet/viral/what-is-shifting-tiktok-meaning/

Having a written shifting script (be it physical or electronic) can help greatly initiate or enhance your shifting experience. It helps visuals be more vivid and real and characters have more depth. It's important to review your script before shifting to instill the details in your mind.

DR: desired reality

CR: current reality

How to use:
Copy and paste the script outline in a word processor (notes, google docs, etc.), and fill out how you see fit. You can fill out as much or as little as you please. I have four sections at your disposal (each in center-page and in bold):

First off, details about yourself. This includes some rudimentary traits (such as name and physical appearance) in case you want to alter them. You may or may not choose to exclude the traits that will remain the same. When it comes to likes, dislikes, etc., script things relevant to your DR. What do you want to do and enjoy while you're in your DR? This can be regular activities/items (dancing, ice cream, etc.), or it could be DR-specific activities (flying, your favorite invisible cloak, etc.).

Secondly, I have the skeleton for a character outline. Copy and paste this for each character you wish to describe. I included as many characteristics as I could think of, but feel free to include or omit whatever details you would like. You may want main characters to have more detail than minor characters. Perhaps, you'll leave out romantic details for characters that you desire to only know platonically.

Third, I have a section to help you specify your physical setting (think buildings, weather, etc.). This will surround the complex characters with an equally complex environment, strengthening the realism of the experience. It's important to vividly describe important rooms/buildings, so, if you mention one of those places when scripting the chronology, it won't be a vague statement. You can write and describe any important events that will happen at the place. Copy and paste for as many rooms/buildings/locations as you wish to script.

Fourth and finally, I have a section that encompasses the time period (the era of your DR) and timeline. The time period includes any "era-specific details". For example, if your DR is in the 50s and you want cars and televisions to look like that of the time period. If your DR is in current time, you could script things you don't want, like phones (whatever you want to eliminate; I think it'd be boring to have phones in my DR). Then, the timeline will help you with the initial task of shifting into your reality. It helps to have the first few steps of your timeline planned out, in order to smoothly transition (I recommend scripting, in detail, the first few events in your DR). At the end, I put some example scripting sentences for other chronological details, like meeting other characters or whatnot. That's the space in which you can script shit you want to happen in great detail.

Thanks for reading. Happy shifting!
