Ep. 11

It was near the end of the festival everyone returned the kimonos and yakutas,

Everyone was walking back but you were behind because you lazy (i don't blame you)

❝(y/n)! Hurry up!❞ your cousin called

❝I would but my legs are so tired, and Sushi says I should just lay there in the middle of the road and wait for a car to come by and run over me❞ you sit on the ground taking a break

❝Who the fuck is Sushi?❞ Tsukishima asked

❝My fish!❞ you hold up the bag so that he can see the fish that you *cough* Suga *cough* won for you.

❝Maybe Ushijima should just carry (y/n)❞ Tendō said

❝No no, just let me do what Sushi requested❞ you say then Ushijima crouched down next to you

❝(y/n)-san just hop on my back❞ you agreed and climbed onto his back, falling asleep right after.

~Ushijima POV~

I finished putting (y/n) in her futon not long ago and now I was finishing getting ready for bed.

I was laying down trying to focus on sleeping but all I could think about was (y/n), I wish I had met her sooner...

I wonder why she went to Johzenji, she could have gone to any school especially Shiratorizawa. I wish she went to Shiratorizawa.

~Next Day & (Y/N) POV~

Today was like an ordinary day.

You slept in late while the boys were playing volleyball,

And Sushi was swimming around in his bowl and you decided that you should head to a pet store and get some fish food.

You got dressed in a black top and camo pants with white shoes

You told your cousin where you were going and it went like this...

❝Bye, I'm going to get kidnaped now!❞ you said waving

❝Good tell the kidnapper that they can't return you❞ he replied,

You wiped away a fake tear ❝I thought you cared, Keishin❞

❝That's what you think❞ he laughed ❝Anyways where are you going because I don't want you to get kidnaped❞

❝So you do care!❞

❝No, if you get kidnaped your mom will kill me and she is scary❞ both of you shudder at the thought of your demon mom.

❝I'm going to the pet store to get Sushi some food❞ you walked off but then got stopped by a certain cat who has a bedhead because he sleeps weird

❝Yo (y/n) let me go with you❞ he requested holding one of the volleyballs

❝Cat captain don't you have a team that needs..captaining?❞ you question

❝Kai can you make sure they don't get too out of hand❞ Kai nods and Kuroo tosses the volleyball to him

He turns to you and answers your question ❝Nope, not anymore❞

The both of you head to walk to the pet store which was not that far, when you walk into the store the two of you head towards the fish aisle.

Looking through the aisle you see all the decorations and food ❝Um, which one?❞ kuroo asked you ❝I don't know, why are you asking me?❞ ❝Maybe because it's your fish??❞

You ended up closing your eyes and choosing one, ❝Let's go to the convenience store, I want snacks❞ kuroo said

❝Alright, I'll wait outside❞ kuroo heads inside the store and you decide to wait on a bench outside

Scrolling through tiktok waiting for Kuroo to get all the snacks he wanted you looked around from the bench you were sitting at to check your surroundings, you see a group of boys walking towards you.

One of the boys speaks up ❝Hey, can I get your number?❞

❝No.❞ you gave them a straight answer and went back to looking at your phone

❝Why not?❞ Do they not know how to take no for an answer? ❝Are you dating someone right now?❞ another boy says

❝She can't be because he told us that she was single❞ you hear one whisper

Who is he? You think to yourself

❝Who said I'm single❞ you started getting irritated at the boys

They ignore the question asked ❝So, are you single?❞ 

❝can you jus-❞

❝No, she isn't❞ Kuroo walks out of the store interrupting you

He puts his arm over you and says ❝We should head back,❞ you nod your head

The other boys turn to this one particular boy that you felt familiar with ❝You said she was single!❞ they say to him

❝I said the last time I was with her.❞ your eyes widen in surprise when you saw who spoke

❝Snake!❞ You and Kuroo said in unison

❝Do you know him?❞ Both of you say at the same time,

❝Yes, our teams played against each other and Nekoma won. How do you know him though?❞

❝I used to date him..❞ the thought of dating him before angered you, thankfully that relationship ended last year and you've changed since then.

Daishō looked you up and down, exploring your curves and letting his mind think of all types of things until he was interrupted by Kuroo saying ❝Quit checking out my girlfriend, don't you have your own?❞

❝w...❞ he paused, you looked into the snake's eyes noticing his eye twitch for a quick second. Not many people would notice it but you did and it seemed like no one else saw. ❝I broke up with her.❞ he said direct and stern

❝No, you didn't she broke up with you.❞ Daishō looked at you in confusion so you told them how you knew ❝Your eye twitched and that always happens when you lie❞

You turn and start walking ❝Come on Kuroo we should head back,❞ he jogs up to you and walks beside you

❝How did you know that he was lying?❞ Kuroo asked ❝Like I said before his eye twitched...❞

❝You guys must have been serious for you to see his eye twitch, I didn't see and he was looking directly at my eyes❞ he put his head into his pockets,

It was serious but you changed after him and you became a better person. ❝I guess you could say that, thanks though.❞ Kuroo looked at you with confusion ❝For saving me from those boys.❞ you laughed.

When you arrived at the camp Kuroo went to the gym while you went to feed Sushi.
