As I sit here with a cup of coffee
I remember it used to be not just me
I used to have someone in front of me
Talking about how life is just a catastrophe
We stayed awake, couldn't catch a break
We fled to a lake, didn't realize our grades were at stake
Memories were the only thing we'd long to make
It was the best time, for God's sake
I'd do anything to go back.
