Daemon's View of the attack

He walked slowly around the pens and bent down occasionally to pet a dog or lean up to rub a horses ear. Hearing Dylan call he was walking up through the trees when he stopped seeing the bear and just a few feet away stood Dylan wide eyed and shaking the rifle in her small hands. His breathe quickened and he ran to the top of the hill. Hoping to divert attention from her to him he yelled.

"DYLAN!" His voice cracked at the end and his heart was going a mile a minute. He saw as she turned her beautiful bluish grey eyes full of fear. The low growl rang in his ears and he was to late to react as the bear lunged toward her swiping with it's massive clawed paws making three long claw marks down her arms and partially on her cheek as well. 

"No.NOOOOO!" He screamed and ran forward as the bear sank it's teeth into her side. Her eyes grew ten times the size and then dimmed. A loud bang sounded and it tore a hole in the bears side. Turning to run the bear took off into the forest and Daemon slid down beside her, the white snow around her now stained red from the four large holes from its canines which had sank into her side. Her eyes couldn't seem to find him. The pupil's kept dilating they had to get her to the nearest hospital and fast. Getting up on one knee he slowly picked her up bridal style and he walked super speed to the house her mother had called a ambulance and though it was snowy they could make it. Looking down he felt her shift and his eyes connected with hers just as they slid shut and Dylan went limp in his arms. Panicking he sped his pace up to the house. Distant sirens were coming steadily closer. Going around to the front which both Matthew and him had shoveled this morning before every one was up. Opening the garage he set her in the back seat sliding in so he could rest her head on his leap with Clary down by her feet. Matthew casted glances ever so often as the sped down the road. 

"There. There!" Matthew yelled throwing off his seat belt as the ambulance came up the road slowing to a halt infront of him. They managed to get to the hospital within ten minutes and Dylan was whisked into surgery. Doctor Manson had exclaimed to us the bear when it had bitten her had apparently nicked a organ which had caused the massive bleeding. She would be fine Daemon's heart slowed down but, his throat and chest remained tight.
